worm.... it is ment to be unfinished on the background, that is how taditional manga is, they make a drawing of a HOT girl, half-naked, and then they color it and not the background so it stands out, hense the name MANGA, if it was all colored it would be ANIME

Damnations made a post, meaning a comment to the author, and yet you immediatly ask him if he is stupid and not talking to the author? Do you have a bad memory, or do these posts only affect you? Are you the unique one in this community?

The submitter never claimed it to be their own, so why should everyone else be "stupid" and think they did? Think before you speak Wormskull...

If you want to be negative, fine, be negative, but use constructive critisicm, otherwise people are going to treat you like dirt. Just saying "the colouring is damn lazy, the shading is lazy" is useless, tell them where they are going wrong. If you dislike it, dont just say "i dislike the bright teal symbols, if they're meant to glow, they don't look like it, they should emit some kind of light" say how they can accomplish that. Maybe then people might have some respect for you.

Elf Warden, maybe you have't noticed this but the only things Wormskull ever says are negative. He has the right to be flamed for his excessive negativity and bringing down good pictures, among other things he just HAS to comment on.

As for the picture, I love it. Except that it's maybe a little oddly drawn (kinda sloppy, but I'm sure it was meant to be that way) and that it's not fully colored in (also probably meant to be that way).

the picture has high details at some places and low from other places...

in it's own way, it looks good without too much shading
and it might be good with shading but it's good that way too.
and the coloring is great in it's own way also
but i have to say that she is made with great drawing skills,

Funny... Everytime I see a comment by Wormskull, there is ALWAYS something bad about it - and more often than not, its usually the entire comment... Here's a tip, Wormskull: You want to be an art critic so bad, get up off your tush and go attend some art museums that aren't on the other end of a computer screen. And grow up. Triforce Forever!

By the way, this pic is sweet - it gives off a "girl-next-door" appeal mixed with an innocent quality I can't place just yet, but the mixture is excellent. Keep 'em coming!

@Artist: I don't blame you if it's supposedly not a warden. It does look good.

if wardens really looked like this they should never wear that helmet over their heads cuz they r beautiful haha

just a friendly tip here, use smudge tool to blend the shading made of dodge and burn to the rest of the pic, it will look nicier than a big straight line of light

You haven't made it.
Anyway, wardens are bald, they got their head shaven, they only got a ponytail.
the coloring is damn lazy, not finished, the shading is also very lazy.
The pencil work however, is strong and definated, it's great, i see no anatomy flaws, except the nose, i'm not much a fan of this anime nose.

the coloring have major flaws, it's a waste for such a drawing. also i dislike the bright teal symbols, if they're meant to glow, they don't look like it, they should emit some kind of light.

basicly, im not a fan either of that Fill,Burn and Dodge method. the authour should've used a good palette of color, burn and dodge tools doesn't reproduce a good shading effect, since they only darken the color by draging it to black. everything has a different texture and attributes, thus the shading isn't the same for everything.
