oh i understand, i dont have a scanner too and use this piteful method. it came pretty good considering its taken with a cam, but its still extremly blurry

4digi cam, :/ and i wasn't using a soft pencil either, also i put up a bad quality image so that people didn't take ages to view it, i could put up a high quality image.
it doesnt really look very definated, you took this with your digital camera, or your drawing is very pale?
Headless creatures of war eh? I'm not against your idea but I think you need to darken them to be seen better.
