1. Installing and Running the Demo
REQUIREMENTS - The demo requires the full versions of "Warcraft III : Reign of Chaos" and "Warcraft III : The Frozen Throne"
as well as a completed and error-free copy of the campaign files.
INSTALLATION - Unzip the enclosed files into your Warcraft III "campaigns" directory.
RUNNING THE DEMO - Start up "Warcraft III : The Frozen Throne", select the Single Player option, then select the Custom
Campaign option, and select the "Dawn of Chaos" demo.

2. Contents of the Demo
This demo of "Warcraft III : The Dawn of Chaos" contains the first two levels of the mod, complete with full voice acting,
partial replacement of skins and models, console art, loading screen art, tilesets, a music file, terrained maps, and various
other additions and enhancements. As such it is a complete remake of the first two levels of the original game "Warcraft:
Orcs and Humans", released in 1994 by Blizzard Entertainment. We have endeavored to keep the level design as faithful as
possible to the original while making a great many changes to the triggering and storyline to bring it up to the level of
"Warcraft III : Reign of Chaos" and "Warcraft III : The Frozen Throne".

3. Legal Rights and Issues
"Warcraft III : Reign of Chaos", "Warcraft III : The Frozen Throne", and "Warcraft : Orcs and Humans" are the express
property of Blizzard Entertainment and its parent corporations and all rights are reserved to them. All additions made to the
program and its containing files, including console art, loading screen art, texture art, model art, tileset art, splash
screen art, dialogue, sound effects, voice acting and all others are the express property of Realm Design, 2003-2004, and any
use or attempted use of this material in any way other than the normal playing of this demo will result in your life
inexplicably ending in a heinously painful manner. You may think this is a joke, but you would be wrong.

4. READ THIS BEFORE PLAYING - Known Gameplay Issues
There are a very few tiny issues that are notable when playing.
	- BE CERTAIN that you clearly choose either Easy, Normal, or Hard at the splash screen for difficulty. Not clearly
defining your choice can lead to gameplay issues.
	- The portrait shown for Lord Lothar is not the final one, nor is his actual head the final version as well. The
portrait included should be considered a temporary substitute.
	- There is temporarily only one sound-set for the human units (which ironically is the same as Warcraft I!) because
without the mpq we needed to reduce file size for the campaign file to work correctly. The final version will of
course include full sound-sets; in fact, several of these sounds have already been completed.
	- Turning "Texture Quality" to anything lower than "Medium" will cause the roads to disappear, since they are based
on the 'splashes' that appear under buildings, which consume memory and therefore are not visible on lower texture
	  quality levels.
	- The texture on Stormwind Keep in the remake of the Blizzard Opening Cinematic is only temporary, and may appear to
be poor because of the low quality of the unwrap file. This will of course be fixed long before the final version
	  is complete.
	- There is a slight problem with the custom blood mod - while the Orcs bleed black blood, it appears in red on the
	  ground.
	- The following cinematics cannot be skipped - Mission One Outro
						       Mission Two Outro
Realm Design Dawn of Chaos Demo Credits
All other cinematics can be skipped at will by pressing the 'ESC' key.
	- Not all system sound sets have been included - however, the main system sounds are in the demo.
	- Not all custom doodads have been included - most notably, the original trees and rocks remain.
	- THIS DEMO HAS BEEN REPEATEDLY TESTED BY REALM DESIGN AND ITS AFFILIATES. IF YOU FIND ANY ERRORS THAT ARE NOT
MENTIONED IN THIS README FILE, PLEASE MAKE NOTE OF IT IN THE "BUG REPORT" THREAD ON THE "DAWN OF CHAOS" FORUMS!

5. Endnotes
First of all, I would like to say on behalf of the entire Realm Design team that I hope you enjoy this, the fruits of half
a year's worth of toil and trouble, by the double. I would also like to ask in the nicest way possible that no-one attempt
to utilize any of the materials that have been affirmed to belong to Realm Design. We spent a lot of time on this, and it
would be damned unsporting of any of you to steal it. Plus, I'll kill you.
We have done our best to recreate the experience of warcraft I in our mod, while retaining the spirit of Warcraft III and
adding a little something of ourselves in the process. So, enjoy, and let us know what you think! As long as it's positive.
Or I'll kill you.
Expect an Orc demo next! We'll keep you posted. Or we won't. Whatever we decide. And you can't do anything about it, that's
the beauty of it, we've got the power and you don't get any. You're at our mercy. Mwahahaha.
That's all, folks.
