I have only one thing to say..
The onlt thign you changed was the age of the paladin.. He doesn't look dead.. ..just older.. To make him look dead try to make his eyes black or just give him a dead gaze.
That was my hints!

Cant give you much credit, just the pally, but recolored.

And maybe its just me , or you did the disabled icon wrong.
