Overall fun map. I'd suggest adding a little more detail and doodads to the city, (benches, lights, flower beds, ect) and remove the pathing from them so they wont interfere with gameplay, but make the town look nicer.

It's difficult to incorporate much forgiveness into a game where the bad guy's safety lies mostly in his anonymity. However, there's a new unlockable game in version 1.2 called "Age of Myth" which you might like (password "bloodlines"). It allows each player to choose a special power, and one of the powers is the ability to revive once after dying. Another power is a special attack that doesn't have remorse. Of course, I'm not at all certain of that scenario's balance just yet.
Other than that, I suggest thinking of the next scenario as your "second chance." The rounds generally end relatively quickly, and then you've got a clean slate. You'll also probably find you get better at avoiding backstabs as you play more.
Regarding the camera, if you have any suggestions about how to improve it (without introducing other problems), I'm happy to hear them. The camera is important not only to the style of the game, but to its balance as well (letting you sneak up behind people), so I think a bird's-eye camera would ruin the map. I could make the camera respond faster to your facing changes, but then it would seem more jittery when your character turns to go around obstacles. I could make it respond more slowly, to smooth that out, but then you wouldn't be able to make the camera turn around as quickly, which can be a problem when turning a corner, or when you suddenly hear someone's dying scream right behind you.

Great map and great fun! IggyZ is right, it has great potential. Yet there are a few definate annoyances that everyone I played with expressed.
The single most annoying thing is the camera. I understand that the camera is part of the style of the game, but it's impossibly hard to control yourself with WC3's control system, and there's really no way to make a better one without using a different game.
