A rp comes from old board games like Dungeons & Dragons where players would Role-Play a character of their choice. (aka: playing the role). RP maps first came out on Starcraft, where players set up the playing grounds, made the units, and pretended they were things like swordsmen or marines or such. This is basically the same, where you Roleplay the units and the setup you make however you want. Everyone has their own tastes, some like to rp, some don't.

And, yeah, rp = Role Play, which is where you're completely free. The there's RPG = Role Playing Game, where you play on a path already set for you.
heeheh lol GreyArchon, whatever you say but lots of peoples host this on bnet and they also wont let newbie Download the ugly map :) i play it once, but then i dont understand whats the map about or what we suppost to do, its said RP and i wonder what the hell is RP ? if it RPG and why there is RP, role playing game meant RPG, yes i rather play RPG than watever RP they named to the map, i know this map make by Frence peoples, and they dont know what the hell is RPG means, so forgive them :) i post this it just because the name of the map is weird to me. and someone translate for me, whats RP mean = role playing whatever,
I hate these kinds of maps. They're often unpolished, are terribly bland (no custom heroes, units or ANYTHING), and are just too simply made.

What's the bloody point? You put a bunch of units/heroes/buildings on the map and start roleplaying? Dammit man, where are the quests? Where is the excitement? Where is the CHALLENGE?

If I want to RP, I'll play an RPG map. This, this is just worldeditor in multiplayer.
