When i get this camp it comes coruppted or invalid and as such has no files can anyone send me an unzipped ver dat [email protected]
 Very cool, and very big too!I spent a week to finish this campaign without cheats and I must say that you have done a very good work! 8)
Too many coments
Alright, it's been a long time since I played a nice campaign, and as for this....Let's see:
- This campaign was great, it had a good story, good heros and nice quests.
- The skins were actually.... There is no need to say because you know already.
- There were some spelling mistakes, one that really caught my attention was "renember" which actually should be "remember".
- The difficulty was normal, easy at first, and gets harder later on, which makes the campaign really interesting.

Overall, it is a nice campaign that could have been a bit better, but I'll give you a 5 for your effort.

Anyway, any idea about the next chapter
hey MartinezTG how did the make the Bagos Quest logo???? can ya tell me?
Looks like it's been a long time since I was here the last time :P
OK so...
1. You don't. :))) It was simply a trap so don't bother.
2. If you mean the one that is indestructible and one of the Guardians of Light come out of it then the only way is to quickly get to that room while the door is opened (which is only for a short period of time).
3. This is pretty complicated because you need to get the blood key from a murloc on the south of the first chapter, then Bago must have this blood key when the 10th chapter ends. After that the blood key appears at the cave entrance. It allows you to open those doors.

Hope that'll help.

Martinez
Is there a hint file for this Quest? I am stuck in Chapter 13 (Grim Darak in the cave) and need to know:
1. How can I get the Orb of Frost (and the Robe of the Magi)?
2. How do I open the Iron Gate (to the right of the first door that is broken down at the start)?
3. How do I get the Demonic Gate open (north of where Grim Darak first enters the cave)?
Aaron
Good campaign!!!
I give you a 4:
1 point because it's your first map, 1 because of the new incredible models, 1 point because the maps are hard and gives real challenge (but you should make an easy version because it takes a LOT of times to do it) and 0.5 point because the gameplay is good (even if there are bugs and flaws). And Finally 0.5 points because the different ennemies you are fighting are original.
Not 5 because: some skins are horrible (not to say terrific because some just make you laugh for hours and finally bores you from playing...). The story is damn simple: I guessed the end at the end of the 5th mission. And because some of the tooltips are missing and it is very bad for a campaign.
loks good downloading it now but its big!
Great map... loved the orc acolyte skin... Hurry up on the next Campaign because I am dying to play it...
Update is here people! Though in the description here it still says 1.00 it's been updated.

Bago's Quest version 1.02

CHANGES, BUG-FIXES (as of 1.00)

Abilities:
- Omir's Shadow Strike and Sango's Acid Spit don't stun for infinity anymore but for 0.01 seconds (0.00 duration caused the target to be stunned forever)
Mission 1:
- Fixed an issue with a secret that made it impossible to get to (involved secret catapults being unrescuable)
Mission 9:
- Fixed the Petrification Ability Enhancing Trigger which ran in weird sittuations which made the game annoying and the map almost impossible to finish
Credits:
- Auto-direction from the Eplouge to the Credits map has been fixed
- Added Darky28 to the 'Thanks To' list :)
Readme:
- Story grammar fixed a bit

I'm still aware of a small bug in mission 6 which is that a trigger adds special effects to all summoned units but should not but that doesn't change the gameplay too much does it :D

Have fun.

Martinez
OK I got to tell this one thing.
On the skins/model edits - they were all made to fit their purposes. If I would really want to have some uber-skins in my campaign then I would ask someone else to do them for me. I didn't think that the quality of the skins could be very important.
The stuff I concentrated on the most here was the story and gameplay.
OK the base story is as told before - similar to the original warcraft but this was because the campaign was started in a time in which I didn't know that the WE can be more than a 'make your own warcraft map' program. But now I do so you'll see a couple of daemons n stuff in the next campaign ;)
The story how it goes though is much different - the characters are not based of any chars found in warcraft and/or other games.
Oh and Bago's skin is not only the hair changed into white ;)

Martinez

EDIT: And ppl -> please dl the update cuz I see that it's like 1825 dls of BQ and only 235 of the update. I've left instructions on how to properly update it in a comment there!

Gameplay: 9
Graphics: 7
Sound: 10
Value: 10
Tilt: 10
Overall: 9.2 (Superb)

Learning Curve: About 10 minuttes. (in addition to the original)
Difficulty: Perfect.
Avarage Gaming time: 25 hours.
Stabability: Some minor bugs here and there...

Oh crappy hell, i finally got through this HUGE campaign. Though, i became rather disappointed by the individual missions. Tool tips were wrong, bugs accoured alot, terrain had alot of flaws and so forth. Though it wasn't done in a rush and that's alot worth.

I would say: A short campaign which has good missions is better to play than a huge campaign with bugs and flaws all over it. Unfortunetly, this campaign, and many of the others released lately, have leaned over to this bad side by offering hours of boring gameplay. Though in this situation the accouring bugs and flawed edges seems minor and most of them seems to be caused by Blizzard patches. But, does all this negative i said about this campaign mean it's bad? Certantly not! This is a truly awesome campaign.

Let's talk about the techtree. The techtree is basically just a simple alterasion from the original and it really doesn't function very well. As you progressively gets more and more buildings this becomes better. But in the start it's very uninteresting and almost all the tooltips doesn't tell you the right thing or is even sometimes missing. But as you progress through the campaign this is restored and the campaign becomes great. Though i really didn't like the Ogre Halls which you can build in map 5 (and up) which in, in map 5, is completely useless. No upgrades, no units. It can keep the enemy busy with blockings but that's basically it!

The story is über awesome!! The charaters is really realistic, the charaters wonders, rally hordes, gather armies, finds allies, slaugthers the enemy with brutal hands all with one sole goal: Regaining control of the whole continent and get revenge over the opposing clan. This appears to be a very difficult task and it's played over 15 playable maps which all feutures his path to glory. All maps are ENOURMUS!!! Not only does they have a big map size, but they are also placed in a way which makes it realistic and last long to get through the map. There is, in fact, very few bad things to say about the story in this campaign. One thing though: The story seems very generic and hard to understand.

The graphics can pass. But i wont go further than that. The skins are the worst i have ever seen in my entire life (in a campaign) but the new model: Crossbowman is admireable. It's really great made, and i really like it. Exellent work with that one. Skins and new units accours progressively and the skins simply, as already said, HORRABLE! They've for example tried to make a bandit into a spearthrower. The model doesn't fit it at all! Nice try dude, but do a better job there next time. A found a few other skins such as Bago Deathfist's skin which, just like the others, looks horrable. It's Thrall with his hair colored completely white. Really, try to focus more on those skins.

A thing I adored for this campaign was it's music. IT'S MUSIC!!! Oh my god it fittet RIGHT IN. Some of the cutscenes had Warcraft: Orcs and Humans music in them and i dont know if that's legal. Anyhows, it sounded great! It really let the orc clan feel sew into you and make you care for your clan and lead it effeciently to victory! I didn't really find much new sounds. Though the few i found sounded really good. But the music was very very very very very... GOOD!!!

This campaign lasts forever, it's a good challenge making it harder and harder over time but doesn't kill you right in the first scenario. It's kindda slowly higher difficulty. IF you pick easy, it's easy. If you pick medium, it's not that hard. And if you finally picks hard you can already count yourself as dead! :D Really well done. This is a fantastic campaign that can be appreciated by everyone. If they will take the time it takes to download it. Though it's filled with bugs, playing it is certantly worth your time!

Using the rating system of Gamespot.
It's not a bug acctually. It is the ammount of gold and lumber you'll get additionally (added to about 1400 gold and 800 lumber standard or sth like that) after you'll be able to build your base. The gold you get for killing creeps will be removed and the only you get is that standard + the lumber and gold which you get from getting the items for the resources.

Martinez

PS The bug in mission 9 was caused by a trigger enhancement which runs without a condition (donno why the WE disabled the condition from the trigger).

And on the spells - if they have a new graphic, other stats and/or some are enhanced by triggers and they shouldn't be called custom then which should?

I was refering to the spells like "hellhammer" and "energy blast". To me, that's not a new spell. Haven't gotten any trigger enhanced spells yet, didn't know their was any.

Btw, found another bug: in chapter six, the dialog box doesn't show the correct ammount of gold and lumber that you have. Neither is it very useful, since the amount of gold and lumber I have displayed at the top of the screen.
Yeah in mission 9 there is one more ultra bug with units pausing after casting spells.
The only way to fix this now (before Darky helps me with uploading the next version) is you must go to:
http://www.wc3sear.ch/index.php?p=Maps&ID=1357
and update mission 9 in the campaign editor (instructions included in my last comment in the link above).

Martinez
hey fix the thing wit heros turning to stone 4 ever
all bow whoever made this map
two words explain this game: WHOA DUDE
Talk about constructive criticism and honesty.
Well... what can I say -> although many ppl have told me the skins are nice I can't force you to think like they do can I? :)

And on the spells - if they have a new graphic, other stats and/or some are enhanced by triggers and they shouldn't be called custom then which should?

Martinez
A little review:

Let me start by saying that the skins are, without a doubt, the WORST skins I have EVER SEEN. Seriously, they are just horrible.

About the custom spells... I don't think it's fair calling them that since they are just old spells with a new icon. And, some of the spells have that eternal-stun bug, too. The spells are perfectly balanced thought, which is more than you can say about the heroes. But the heroes being imba doesn't really bother me, they are after all great fighters and I think they should be powerful.
The loading screens are nice, but it's a bit hard to see what the icons (like the hammer in map 1) is supposed to be, since they are transparent.

The story is ok so far (gotten to map 5), and this campaign sure is big. 15 maps, 11 interludes? Oh my god.
The maps are done great. Nice terrain and paths and they have a nice feel to them. The quests are fun and luckily they aren't all the same, which is a big plus. I first thought that this campaign would be 15 maps of build-base-destroy-enemy, but I'm lucky that I found out that I was wrong.

Well, overall I like it. Much better than I thought it would be, and it certainly beats the big bug Rotd. 4/5 for the gameplay, 1/5 for the skins. Can't wait for the second part! Got to go complete chapter five, bye.
I just wanted to say, that you have made a very good campaign, I think I like it better then for example: RotD. Pozdrawiam, heh :)
Yea the sword isnt a big issue, still was funny, also some conversations didnt really suit, sounded trivial, like quest, bago uses that much, ' nothing will stop my quest' quest doenst sound much apropiate, u could use goal or something else sounds kinda childish, as well as some other things that i dont remember, but i undertand enlgish is not your native language. Anyways im using 1.15. version.
Thanks. I'll need to seriously check that issue out with the Firebolt based abilities (Acid Spit and Shadow Strike) with 0 second stun cuz it seems that maybe one of the newer patches makes it go as infinite stun when typed 0 in the Ability Editor :(

I'm glad you liked it and BTW about the sword - it doesn't have a bigger meaning after all who has the item if it can only unsummon Prime Guardians :) but I'll fix that in a future patch.

Martinez
Well i just finished the campaign, and found more bugs, the same thin that hapens with the Shadow Strike ability, hapens on the Acid ability of the Dragon, and also isnt supoused that the warlock gave the sword to the Death Knight? cause the Warlock still has it...

Anyways i liked it. 9/10
ohhh. sorry :(
"err.what's taking so long to update the map?"

It's taking so long because it's not only the map that must be updated but the whole campaign :/

It must be made with Darky's help as I said because it's to big for re-submission through the Update/Add Resources menu.

Martinez
The chapter of this campaing i have played are really well done, yea it has some imperfections about the terrain, but i undertand it, most of maps are really big, the skins arent really cool but they are aceptable, thou the spearmen and warlocks need serius help, and yea i faced the bug of the Great Division map, all units began tranforming themselves into stones  havent played with the update, anyways i found several bugs but most of them arent importand since im already forgot about them, just one keep wondering me, the Blademaster Shadow Strike ability, says it deals an amount of damage to the enemy unit, but when i use it also stuns the enemy, it was ok nothing really strange, then a dragon start chasing my hero so i run and used the ability to help, when a returned with air atackers i founf the dragon still beign stunned, yes the stun seems to last forever unless dispelled, dunno if u did it on purpouse.

Anyways great story, but still need some details and the gameplay is great, rather too easy but still good.
err.what's taking so long to update the map?
This was to make a quick update before I could upload the entire campaign. I will submit Bago's Quest with the map included as fast as I can... anyways I ain't gonna repeat myself -> I left the whole comment why I did this at the Chapter IX update.

Hope you understand.

Martinez
Why are you doing this nasty taking space thing:

-Replace the old map with this new updated version map, THEN go to add/update resources near the log in/log out button at the top right of the screen, and click on your existing campaign (Bago's quest) and then update it simply by uploading the campaign with the new version map in it again....that's all.

If you don't know how to update, ask around for help, and if you still don't know how to do it, submit your new version campaign and delete the first one (which means this one)
UPDATE! VERY IMPORTANT!!!!!!!!!!!

Download CHapter IX: The Great Division from the download section!!!!!!

MISSION 9 IS A BUG PARADE AND I DON'T KNOW WHY THIS HAPPENED!!!

GET IT IF YOU WANT A QUICK UPDATE!
OF COURSE YOU NEED TO PUT IT INTO THE CAMPAIGN BY REPLACING the a13missionOrc9.w3x map!!

Martinez
I've seen the screenshots and read the forums.... It looks like a promising campaign.... But as I said, I play only good campaigns (And I assume that this is one of them  )

I'll wait for some reviews, so that I could know the bugs and understand the game much more....

I'm currently playing RotD now (I want to go through the whole game with all dragon whelps) once I finish it, I'll play this, I promise :)

@Darkness:
Thanks for the review, what I like in you is that every campaign you play, you give FULL review about it, and that's what makes me pleased. Everyone should review the same as you.... You now have encourged me to play this... But I'll play it later (Read the underlined words above).
Well... i haven't played the campaign through yet. But i will give Andyx a little sight in what this campaign has to offer (which i find REALLY impressive). No direct rating becouse i really haven't played more than to the 5th chapter.

Length: 15 playable maps, 26 maps in total, all huge... (at least the first five) this is simply amazing. It's very impressive. Playing these 5 chapters through (i am ½ at the fifth acually) have taken me about 17 hours. (spread over a few days) and i must say that this campaign just seems huge and endless sack of "gold" with all these quests, chapters and all sorts of stuff!

Terrain: The terrains are, as told just before, simply huge and very interesting! No snakeforming, no symetrical terrains or all these things. However, there are some bad flaws in it which makes it look... well, bad! Some passages also seems too small. But the terrain is so beutiful overall that it cannot be descriped.

Gameplay: Mostly like normal melee. Exept you got a few units which is changed. (as far as i know of). The heroes are not adjusted in the speed they gain EXP and max level (for the most levels i played) 3, then 3 more next time and so forth. It's also a little bit hard sometimes BUT doesn't take huge steps in difficulty like this:
..../\....../\
.../...\.../...\
_/......\/......\
But more like this:
..................____
..........____/
____/
Therefore, this campaign seems like a good challenge!

Graphics: Some reskinning here and there! None of them looks directly pretty... But it's okey! Take for example the spear thrower. He's a retextured Bandit Spearman and it REALLY doesn't look like any orc face!

Music: GRRRRREAT!! The music is simply great. It's really this "orc clan" feel which slip into you when you hear this. Some cutscenes also have their own musical theme.

Bugs: There are a VERY few... just small things which doesn't mean a fraggin shit to the gameplay. I wont go into detail right now. But the amount of bugs compared to Nature's Call - Return of the Dragons ect. is small (even though the one with RotD is becouse of Blizzards patch 1.16).

Overall: Certantly WORTH A TRY... nothing more to say. It's deeply impressive and those who says it sucks are automallicy considired some smartass which expects them to 2 new expansions for Warcraft 3 or something like that. From what i have played of this campaign, it's TRULY great!!
Yeah... I know what you mean now with the trees... Special 1 should have been rescuable in mission 1 :(

Special 2 is an enemy

BTW Special 1 is paused and it seems paused units cannot be rescued :/ my mistake.

Oh well... to be corrected in 1.01 :)
Please understand that some trees must be invulnerable to make the maps not winable the 'wise-guy' way.
Oh and Andyx - if you want more info on the campaign go to http://www.wc3modforge.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=339
there are some screenshots and here:
http://www.wc3campaigns.com/showthread.php?t=42163
is an older thread I posted which contains info on the Units, Heroes and the Story.
(You can find that also in the readme1.txt).
if that doesn't convince you then like you said - just wait for reviews :)

BTW A little tip: If the BLOOD KEY stays with Bago all the time it should open a door in mission 13.
Special 1 and Special 2 are secret units and if these show up in the Victory/Defeat stats then it's a small bug ;)

EDIT: heh... I'm posting it everywhere so I'll do it here too. HERE'S A QUICK POSTER I'VE MADE :)
http://www.wc3campaigns.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=44916&stc=1
got the map ! i am in chapter four

good campaign, except for invul tree..
what is special 1 and special 2 in map 1 and what is the blood key for? You should make a secrets guide. How do you get past invulnerable trees??
I won't download this campaign UNLESS someone gives some reviews about it, sorry. I normally don't play any campaign, I just play good ones.

So I'll be waiting until some people give reviews about this.
You mean it doesn't unlock?
I've just checked it out watching the whole Prelude Part II and once again skipping it and it simply runs chapter 1. Weird... :/
Which version of TFT are you using?
BQ was finalized at 1.15a so on that and higher it should work.
Is anybody having the same problem?
Hmm  .... i cant play it... ican see the the 2 parts of the interlude.. but cant play chapter 1!!   ........... Why?!?!?!?!?!.........want to know why?!?!?!?!?!..... hmmm... but the interludes are very good!! relly nice.. cant to better by my self (thats true) :(
