Wow, that's a long post . . . Dude, if you've got so many cool ideas, then use them. You make a map and try your luck. It's tough, but if you can do all these cool ideas of yours then I'm sure it'll be good. Before you do, try not to rag on those who have, it's just not cool.
Dark Shogun, you talk big but ultimately your "ideas" are flawed. For starters, I mean having your characters age and die? Thats just stupid. And secondly, you talk about all these big ideas but I seriously doubt you have the knowledge, competence or endurance to do any of this. Whats more is you say LoaP is a rip off of Real Life. Isn't Parasite basically a rip off of Whos the Alien? And I tell you this; if Real Life is so much better than LoaP then why is LoaP palyed so generally while Real life is only played rarely?

plz dont fight with eachother i like parasite and i like loap very much.. i'm making some maps too (all maps of MP Productions are mine.. i think you've never seen one ) anyway.. im making a kinda loap called: Road to Riches it will take years before i finished it.. but im working on it. If that map will be how i want it to be, it would be a perfect life of a peasant but i dont have very much experience in making maps.. i just created a simple map called Rabbit Hunt its a kinda sheep tag but with hunters and bunnies. as a bunny you have to fuck with eachother and increase your population and try to reach the 100 to win. hunters have to kill all rabbits and can buy cool items like rabbit trap and axe (to cut down trees, cuz rabbits can walk between 2 trees standing near eachother, but hunters cant) and machetes to cut down thorny vines, that rabbits can 'build'. i like it.. its not yet released, but soon it will...
AHHAHAHAHA... are you kidding me? I think your the jealous one.. this game is not even close to the excellent fun of half the games out there in warcraft 3 frozen throne battle.net.. I tell you with my own honest opinion that this game is a heaping pile of cow dung.. you'd have to pay me to waste a good decent time playing this trash. You lack no creativity and imagination in the creation of this game, and those 2 things are the key importance to making a good game.. and believe me when I tell you this, sometimes the simplest games are the most enjoying and ingenious of all. And by the way.. the person you are refering too, he has told me that although he created the terrain for both dota and your Loap game.. he severly dislikes them and when I talked to him about some of my game ideas he thought of them as very fascinating and would definately like to play a game like the ones i mentioned. Oh, and Isis22, I wasnt talking about those even stupider versions of loap, i'am speaking of loap in general, and I honestly dont give a rats ass of what people think of my opinions, I tell em straight how I feel and lay it to them hard and if they dont like it, then tough shit. I think ill give you a few ideas (order_of_pheonix) that would make a game like this better and although i'd rather show these ideas to the maker of real life for morons since he seems to be the best creator of life games and quite obviously much more talented then you.. ill show you them anyway to give you a sense of inferiority to my creativity
First of all, the game should allow you to pick your gender, age group (child, teen, adult, senior), your race, and finally a specific age. What ide do is make your hero's level your character's age, and have stat bonus' be upgraded by exercising (strength would be strength, agility would be agility, and intelligence would be stamina). As time passes by your character would progress in age and eventually die. I'd also add a save/load coding system for your character and if your character dies, ide make it so all saved data of that character is deleted to get the player a realistic fear of death. Also.. I gotta ask.. who the FUCK came up with the idea of drugs being something that makes you stronger? I mean, how much lack of creativity can one have? I'd have drugs create a fun, although negative in the long run effect, and also have it possible for your character to get addicted on drugs so you'll have to keep taking them or suffer witdrawal which will effect your character by slowing his movement speed and other negative effects. I'd also create a similar situation for alcohol beverages like I did in parasite. I'd create a large selection of firearms that would actually require and consume specific ammo types. Another thing that I was surprised at is why no one ever made a theator, that should be added. I'd also have working more realistic, like you'd actually have to go to work on certain hours and remain there til your shift is over to get paid.. and failure to show will result in your undevoted lazy ass getting fired. Another thing that is a major issue to life games is a sense of open-ness. What I mean by this is everyone should have the opportunity to become a gangleader and recruit either player or NPC gangmembers... everyone should have the opportunity to become a cop, or the chief of police.. everyone should have the opportunity to become mayor of the city by first campaigning an election to compete with other players or NPCs for office rather then just walking on a circle which I think is rediculous, and once your mayor you'll actually have to do something to make the city better, such as dealing with crime, economic struggle , environmental issues, transportation and traffic issues, power issues, and so much more.. and lets not forget about the o-so eye catching political scandals. Another thing to give players a sense of open-ness is having players be able to get their cash the dirty and dishonest way by robbing houses, banks, etc... and by performing these illegal acts will get you arrested and sent to jail and you'll receive a timed-sentence depending on the seriousness of the crime committed (and by going to jail, you'll start in big house whenever you save and restart). You can also get away with crimes in the court house, but the chances of this happening depends on your lawyer and how witnesses are there to testify (ide have triggers to count the number of citizens nearby the area the crime was committed), and if your a fugative the cops would place wanted posters around the city which gives a large chance of citizens freaking out and calling the cops everytime they see you (unless ofcoarse you change your appearance). Speaking of appearance changes, ide also have changing your clothes, and hairstyle available, if possible, but most likely it wouldnt change your character's model. I'd also allow players to team up with other players or NPCs to create a band that would perform in concerts and dance clubs and such. Hmm.. and I guess ide have cars consume gas, which would need to be refueled at local gas stations every so often. Another thing that would make the game more open is have every player the ability to grow/create their own drugs.. that would be most fun. And going to college is required to learn certain skills to undertake in certain job professions. Ooooh.. another thing that ide definately add is a large selection of martial arts dojo's to learn many different techniques.. such as the well known styles of karate and kung-fu, with addition to some more eastern techniques such as tang-lang, akido, tai-chi chung and the brazilian art of caprieora.. I myself have a strong love and knowledge for martial arts.. and seeing them work their magic in a game would be most excellent. Hmmm I guess I have not much else to say.. although I still have many more ideas for a life game, ide rather not waste another single minute punching keys to try and enlighten your sorry untalented ass... I truly believe that you lack to creativity to even produce these ideas in the first place and I believe even stronger that you lack the necessary skill and knowledge to put these ideas to work.. I mean honstestly, do you ever even play this gay ass game? I seriously doubt it, otherwise you would see just how flat out boring it is.. and if you do play it and still agree otherwise, I think you are seriously in denial. Sure it might seem somewhat interesting after playing a game like this for the first time.. but after another game or 2 it will hit you like a ton of bricks and the only thing you'll have to say is... "Wow, this game sucks, I could pull a better gain straight out of my ass." Well I hope you've learned from my post.. I could make a more enjoyable game then this while blind folded.. so please, try and make better games before calling yourself anything better then me..
First of all Shogun, you need to become a better mapper before you start shooting your trap. You may be the author of Parasite, but I doubt the map took little skill to make, as I have inspected the triggers before.
And I believe you are friends with the terrainer of this map. He told me you talk to him on AIM.

Isis, I wouldn't worry about him. He's just jealous that his map (Parasite) has never and never will have the popularity that LoaP once had.
I on the other hand like LoaPs and the fact that this is an official is even better. It is far more balanced than fakes and it has one of my favorite Heroes, the ARV. DarkShoGun, you probably don't like it because you're used to playing the versions with God or Death that allows corrupt people to kill anyone they want. I've learned over Battle.net that people don't like to work for their power, they like to have it handed to them. Also, it's been out for only a few hours, so I doubt you've had time to play it on Battle.net.

Also, a word of advice: If you want reputable people to respect your opinion, then don't make stupid comments like that. It makes people not care what you have to say. The maker of this map, OrderOfPhoenix, probably spent a lot of time making this. Mapmakers don't have time to listen to people call their work crap who can't even backup their statements. Say what's wrong with the map; what is unbalanced or where are there game errors?
