Hold The Line against the escaping Goa`ulds. Similar to TD maps, except that escaping Goa`ulds come back hostile AND with reinforcements! In addition, instead of counting the leaks, you have a mission deadline for cleaning the hostile reinforcements up.

Well, interesting map. Better than most SG maps I've seen. The TD theme doesn't quite match the show, but the map itself is pretty decent. The "control zones" is nice, so people can't get in the way. The music is a nice touch, even if it doesn't sound great and adds a lot of size. My only real complaint is that on some levels only what escapes comes back, sometimes it brings back a duplicate of the wave. 4/5
Okay, I let a fairly big bug in with the 'final' version -- and decided to fix it.

The bug? well, let's just say that the unit selection trigger I used was the wrong one. Things are much nicer now, so your selection won't get hijacked every time somebody selects a builder.

NOW I'll be moving on to my other projects.
Well, a lot has changed in this, the final version.

To begin with, there is a Team Survivor mode now. The only real difference is that it plays a lot more like normal TD's (no reinforcements, fixed # of leaks).

Then there are the requisite balance adjustments. Teal'c was made much stronger, and enemy strengths were evened out a bit (round 3 and 5 were a bit tough before, and the medium rounds were too easy).

Also, every builder can now be exchanged (once), so people that aren't happy with their first choice can reselect.

Those are the main changes, and the map is 'done.' I will not make further changes to this map, and continue to ask that anyone that makes changes to it will just be sure to give proper credit as appropriate.

Thanks++

Version 2.2C has significant changes from the last one uploaded.
- Expanded terrain to reduce 'kill stealling'
- Entirely new set of towers
(tower upgrades for power, speed, and splash)
- Builders are brand new as well
(builders are the beloved SG-1 team members)
- The regional control system was revamped
- Block Detection is virtually bullet-proof
(thanks in large part to the terrain changes)

Note: I protected this map reluctantly, based on how
bad the immitations I've seen look. If you are a
*serious* map maker and would like to use the RCS,
BDS or other 'special' triggers in your map, you
will either know how to get at them or send me an
email via this site.

Note: this doesn't apply to those people who honestly
tried to modify/improve my map and left my name in
the credits. If you liked my map enough to change it,
I say "thank you!" -- and I regret making it harder
for you to continue doing this just because of some
jerk that wants to take credit for it all.
Interesting map... like the attacking units and spliting guys.
