How can this campaign be a DC?!
Ok, the beginning is pretty nice, the spell choosing original, but the storyline gets worse and worse as u proceed ( the demon-avatar revelation doesn't make any sense at all) .Playing it was too easy, the "A" hotkey of Apparition and Attack drove me mad, and i personally dislike the "Harry Potter" kind of mages... (killing curses, blood traitors and so on...)
I played this campaign yesterday and I'm giving it 2/5. In my scale I think two points is quite good.

The campaign lacked side quests and in my opinion it was quite action oriented, like some hack and slash. There were more potions than in Diablo 1 and 2 together and there weren't anything hard playing with setting 'hard'.

Terrain modelling could have been a bit better. There were a few trigger errors; I couldn't complete the last chapter even though I had killed all the enemies and in the second last chapter one bridge switch stayed down even though it should have jumped up.

The keyword a was irritating because it should have been used for attacking. And I didn't really understand why the abilities changed in almost every chapter. And if the woman was apprentice why couldn't I notice anything special about the male wizard? They were quite similar.

First the ability system felt quite fresh, but I still don't understand what's so good about this campaign. You surely made an effort with this campaingn but I know you can do even better.
This campaign was brilliant. It is so good that it's probably my favourite campaign, and i've tried out at least 30 campaigns. I dont like them campaigns where you have to build a base, They get incredibly booring, so i dont see what the big fuss about that big campaign where ur water elves vs grand sumoner and bad ancients, ect . . .

Anyay, this was brilliant. It was an easy campaign for myself, but i enjoy campaigns i can simply fly through. I give it a very honest 94/100 . Just a few very minor bugs.

I love missions where you dont have a base and cant build . . .

I was very happy that in ypur version of events, the trolls and ogres won. I hate what happened in the real version of events where them cowardly mages unleash loads of magic and wipe out the trolls and ogres as they are just about to acheive victory.

Anyways, If you ar telling the truth that you made this in just 2 weeks, you should make a massive campaign, because i love this campaign, and cant wait for any other campaigns you make to come.

94/100
This was sooooo good, I really loved playing this.
But they are right you just made this a crush and kill no other quests, would've been even better with more quests. I think the only optional quest was kill the 5 co members, also on the lvl of that map you made a cemetery on the 2nd floor, doubt people would do that, a cemetery should've come in the basement...
Sorry just my terraining side speaking, and speaking of terrain, it was good. Solid 5/5

Great Job
You made a mistake with one of your shortcuts for keys for apparate it was A and most people use A for attack. and in some areas your doodads blocked the way

But I really wish you could have made voice overs speaking of voice you left some words written in German like the buffs good thing I knew german lol

slow down the longer panels in your cinematic parts some of my friends played and said it was to fast ditto in my opinion.

Also Your tooltips for Ice levels and other tooltips said certain damage but didnt do it PLUS if u got any sell 4 times only stuns unit and no mana take up doesnt work u should only have so u can get 3 times then it drops like book

OTHER THAN THAT GREAT WORK!! PLUS I LOVED YOUR SKINS AND YOUR ARCANE AURA WAS COOLEST AURA

only problem though is that if you were going for the BLIZZARD(c) version of the troll wars you have so much wrong BUT if it was going for your idea of troll wars then perfecto
To complete the last level type -debug after you've killed all the humans. The author (Makuza) told me this. :P
BRILLIANT but on the last level i killed all the humans but didnt win
This "Troll War" is very good, but the other Makuza's campaign "A Twilight Past" is a very master-work,the only problem is the language (The campaign is in German) :?
dont boast pal. He probably did this all by himself.
ya i agree i cant finish map 5... my campaign "The Troll Chronicles" will blow this away and its a lot beter and longer involving 2 campaigns in one! Act One and Act Two lol its gonna rock and its almost complete!
i found a glitch . in chapter 5, ive killed all of the enemy units, and have used iseedeadpeople to check, and i still dont win

Just type -debug and that should fix your problem.
PLEASE fix Apparate. It's shortkey is "A" - which is the same as the attack button. This is so frikkin' annoying, everytime I tried to attack move (which I tried alot) I would get teleportet back. Annoying.

Also, I recommend removing Apparate from the fourth map (where you sneak into that building of the Order), since you don't really have a camp and if you move, you can't return to the floor you were previously on, making you stuck on floor 1.
i found a glitch . in chapter 5, ive killed all of the enemy units, and have used iseedeadpeople to check, and i still dont win
This campaign is pretty good, but the quality is decreasing when you get closer to the end. Especially with the story :
SPOILER
the heroin is a demon godess without knowing it ? it's weird - the magistrate is only the demon hunter (I don't remember the name) it's quite disappointing when you expect a surprise with this mysterious character - and the end "let the demons and trolls ally to make a better society" It doesn't make sense !
END OF SPOLIER

Other than that it's a good gameplay but a little too easy, even the last map. The custom stuff is good and really useful, not only to show off - good point. The story at the beginning is quite intriguing and makes you want to know what happens next - I really liked the fact that you don't know which is the good guy between the invisible mage and the magistrate.

In conclusion, it's above average but it could have been a top campaign if the author had spent more time on the story and made it harder. Compared to Lord of the clan, I don't think it deserves a DC award - but maybe that's just me. :)
wow... This campaign compared to the History of The Troll Wars are completley inaccurete. Other then that, it was an ok campaign. the 1st level was pretty rich in its looks which i liked but then it all went down hill. The last map was stupid. u just keep summoning demons to kill the elevs until there all dead.. and once i killed em all i didnt win? I've also been making a campaign about the Troll Wars and now i know that the compition isnt that bad lol 3/5
i havent played this map yet but when i get home im gonna.. i really like trolls so i hope this is a good map lol. maybe it will give me some insperation for on of my new maps
I think that Makuza should submit the map instead of restinpieces, cuz he is the author! Great campaign!
RestInPeaces are you Makuza?

No, I just found this campaign on another site and thought I'd submit it over here.
Er... I have no idea who Rest in Pieces is^^. I am definitely Makuza, though ;). Thank you for the award, VGsatomi.
VGsatomi is right. Terrain is excellent. I would give it a few touches but it's ok. It looks good. RestInPeaces are you Makuza?
Was this campaign originally in German?

Yes.
I finally got around to playing this, and I must say this is quite impressive work. The terraining is among the best, the story is involving, absorbing and fullof twists. The quests are layed out to blizzard quality, and everything flows perfectly, complete with great balance of story and action time. This is a really great campaign. This gets a Director's Choice Award. We hope to see more works from you.

On Chapter V, type -debug if you don't get a victory condition.
Interesting. I will try it soon too.

Edit: Okay i played your campaign. It's very cool. But in the last map there is no way of winning. Anyway i loved that part! xD You just kill crap. I thought i woul have to fight a lvl 64 on map 7... phew XD.
W00t first download. Will try it out very soon.
