bravo, im impressed. But the ending was slightly enpty.
Knowing ur Skill with cinematics (I downloaded ur Curt of the Damned movie just yesterday, it made me cry in the end), i MUST dl this!
Damnit...That was so funny... i couldnt stop laughing for a time..

5/5 awesome movie. Awesomely made.
Wow... when the peasant is sitting down... and he's talking about things... you notice that the pupils are separated from the eyes... its kinda freaky...
I agree with waldbar

Zurg's terrain for cinematics like.. ownz.. everything ive seen from other cinematic makers. I sure as HELL ownz mine.
But I will try better on the next one :)
Waldbär:
have you seen all cinematic makers their work, guess you don't so as long as that is the issue, you can't tell either.
another great movie
This cinematic should get a design award, but it's camera use is cruel. Damn, why did you not MOVE it? Not enough time, I think. Damn limits in the contest... :x
Please Zurg, take a little more time and finish this cin as your last masterpiece. And build a real ending and good credits scenes.
It's a shame that this beautiful terrain is not used in an equal beautiful way.

There are some other good cinematic makers but nobody gets this level of calm design.
Heh there are some uprissing stars that could take his place in this catogory, just keep your eyes open.
I know....

...its unfortunate.

VG, this is his last cinematic, as he posted on the Bnet forums and in the CotD forums.
I loved the use of lights and the terrain in the first part. Later, everything became less intresting, the story just run around itself, and even the terrain is less appealing (ie. the low quality grass model clash horribly with the trees). Also you used no camera movements, only instant switchings, and personally I found that quite "inefficent" in the long run.

(sorry for my bad english :\)
It didn't get honorable mention because the only true fight scene was somebody getting hit once, and by a pick axe.

It was a bit too laggy in some scenes, the voice acting sometimes wasn't right, and the story didn't seem to origional. Just alot of talking with no action like his last one. This is not to say it is bad. Infact, it's the opposite.. but for the type of cinimatic Blizzard was asking for, this doesn't seem to entirely fit it, which is why I don't think it made mention.

None the less, terrain was good, voice acting was good (had emotion), animations were good, and well.. everything was except the ending, in my opinion.

Still a 4.7/5, since the only improvements that can be made are rediculous to be expected in such a short time to make the cinematic.
How was it that this did not even get honorable mention? Was it because it didnt fit the revenge critieria enouph? As for the quality of this short cinimatic, it certainly lives up the the quality expected from you. Great sequence of events. This gets a Director's Choice Award from me. There is a lot of room to expand on this story...maybe you can do that now that you dont have a 5 minute limit?
