Since you're into dead people, how about some doodad/prop corpses that could be left along the ground with arrows or axes or swords sticking out of them? Something to show the aftermath of a battle. They could be human, orc, elf, etc. That could be usefull for map settings.
haha back to the corpses and dead bodies again.
