The beholder or "The sphere of many eyes" or the "Eye Tyrant" is a formiddable opponent of extreme power. It's central eye produces an antimagic effect so that no spell can hit it if looks upon the caster. This model is a nice creation of a Beholder. Im going to use this . Thanks for making this model .
well i never played tibia... but i do know this is like the last boss in the first little world place in buldurs gate dark alliance... not sure what the worlds or whatever are called but yeah this model is almost perfectly modeled after it, the teeth look like paper though lol 5/5
I like this model. I ever wanted to dl this but the link of the previous submit was broken. Now i have it. Anyway i need something for a CacoDemon in my doom mod, but perhaps the only reason why the other beholder model fits it better is because it attacks by biting, and it's better for lava ball throwing. Tho i'll use that other model i need to tell u it's WAY better than that.
uhh a q. Can u upload that Wood Elven transport ship? It looks awesome.
cryptfiend, go shove it. If you had been around in this community for a bit longer and been around the forums on wc3c a year ago or so you would have known that i made this model long time ago, but was never able to get it ingame because teh art tools didn't exist. It is old yes, but it is mine. And yes I did post it on the blizz forums. Had you paid a bit more attention you would have noticed that the poster was me. Now please go and THINK before you say stuff like that, if you have seen the other stuff I have made and submitted here you should have no problem accepting that i created this as well. There was no c'n'p involved other than the concept itself.
Beholder is from D&D i play the game and i have the movie, the beholders are used as guards for there great senses and many many eyes, they can see 20x farther and better than any human orc or elf, thanks for making this if i can get some 1 a pic can they make me the red and gold dragons along with the red dragon staff and the gold dragon staff,, anyone?
Kam duh! Cookie ripped the beholder model from NeverwinterNights, there's not that much skill in that. This one is actually made from scratch, and it's more Warcrafty too.
La morte you suck. You keep downrating crap to 2's and 3's when they are extremely useful. This seems better than the old one for some reason, but nonetheless I have the mod and can take it out with WINMPQ, but usually i just look at paths 4.8/5= 5/5
Franky, I don't think any fantasy Writer/ game maker can copy right any creature or race, becuase they are all based off something, most from lengends. Personally i think the beholder is a re-name for some kinda modifyed Gorgan, or summit, oh well
Beholders ar copyright? Thats hardly fair its a greek or roman legend (not too good at history lol) and even if its not many games and such use beholders they have just used it...but i might be wrong dont flame me tell me that im wrong if i am in a sensible way with manners please not Shut up u noob u aint no nofink about istory!
Reminds me of the boss in the 1st part of baulder's gate dark alliance
That's because Black Isle made all the BG games (BG2 SoA and ToB where the best, Irenicus is unforgettable) and BG uses Dungeons and Dragons RPG system. The Beholder is a registered trademark and copyrighted under DND and TSR (or wizards of the crap for you newbs). Yeah, so the first boss was a beholder, and it is DND's best and most feared creatures, besides the lich and ofcourse, red and gold dragons.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't this a model that came out in a blizz forum about a week after art tools was released. I think it was a old version where it was just a floating eye with tenticals that shot out green lazer beams. Anyway its cool, 5/5 for originality and good skin.
