This is an UPDATE on the HeroFemaleOrc I made before. I used the demoness base model. Gave her an orc face, improved the ears, switched the weapons on the hands and improved the portrait. Hope you'd like this one. Put them all in one folder (same paths). Only thing lacking me guess is the ponytail hair. =)
Ok, me fixed the model. The reason me guess why it didn't load in WE is due to the problem with the skin. Corrected them now so the weapons appear. With that I guess it will load in the WE now.
i kept the zip file when i dl it from here and i open it and extract the blp file and then i tested it on the warcraft viewer again without changing the blp file but the weapons still appear red. upload the skin in skin section and i will try that one and see if it works. i have a feeling its because you have included the same skin more than once in the mdx file. i looked at it in mdl and you have put the same blp pathway for orcfemale 2 - 3 times.
mr.psycho the weapons appear when I view it. The skin is correct as well. Dunno what happened with yours.
Anyways, I'll upload the skin on the skins section so you can get it since I can't update the skins in the original pack.
I checked the original pack and the skin I originally uploaded is correct, nothing wrong with it.
Did you use another skin as base for your new skin? Coz if so then it might have led to your problem now. Try using the skin in this pack as your base for the new skin you're trying to make.
frostwolf, i seem to have a problem geting the weapon skin to work, the weapons appear red in the warcraft viewer. i have made a new skin for this but i have made something different, not a orc. dont know why the weapons come out red and i wonder if you could take a look at it and see if there is anything it could be.
Fair enough, some orcs are attractive. Garona was only half-orc so she might or might not count (is this supposed to be a pure orc or half-orc I really don't know?) I am just a little sick of people expecting all female game characters to be hot. I like hot girls and all but sometimes it get ridiculous.
yeah the face is rather ugly and i would like to see a sexy looking orc, that wat she can be sexy cool kickass. i would try and change the hair, changing the hair into something different will shape the head of the female orc and create something new. look at jainas face and model the shape of her face on the orcs but then just add larger ears. remember that the jaina model has a bad sector on the face, try not to imatate that. for the hair i think you should keep it straigt but make it more loosly instead of all clumped up like the demoness hair, try and keep it more flowing and in stands. i know this might meen polys going up but with only a few strands it shouldn't make the polys too high.
i dont think the words "orc" and "hot" work in the same sentence. unless...you like the things with tusks sticking out of their mouth and noses like pigs?
Umm, has anyone actually gotten her working in the editor because I can't. I've tried reloading the editor and including the skins the old version used but she doesn't work.
Judging from the screenshot she looks really good but I still don't see any player color markers on her skin. I think the cloth armlets and neckband would be perfect. Since I can't use in the editor I can't tell if her weapons have hero glow now or if her blade has proper tranparency.
Also she has 3 different skin tones, one for her face, one for her ears, and one for her body. If they could be made the same she would improve a lot.
Err... she still looks nothing like an orc, she would make a perfect succubus though. Fix the face, if you can make it look more orcish (look at wow pics) then it should fix everything. The shade of green you are using is also too dark, look at a normal orcs skin color; if you can't find the right shade (and you use photoshop) then just use the eye dropper tool and sample from a wow pic of a female orc for the right colors.
Better face, it looks like she went under a hammer and had her face beat till it was dwarf sized. Also why does she have one claw and one round thing with sharp edges?
Hmmm . . I will investigate the matter tonight and give an update tomorrow. Chow!
And the eyes should be a bit lighter. But rest is awesome. 4.8/5
