i m agree with 1RingToRule, all shield go on left and a lot of unit have the weapon on left...

All I have to say is....IT GOES ON THE RIGHT HAND!!! You are officially the man for making a shield that goes on the right hand. My personal thought is that all shields on this site should have 2 versions, one for the left hand, and another for the right hand. Then they would be 100% useful.
