Hey Cookie, I'd prefer an armored drider, bit Crypt Lordy in the abdomen, Spellbreaker up the top. I'd say spear for weapon, but the animations play better with ranged weapons. Oh, and Yuan-Ti for the win anyway. Snake people rock
Oh, and a bit odd how the Nightwalker looks more tainted than the Tainted One =P
And they all have portraits. They're just not in the model, they're seperate outside ones. Even though, you could have easily added a camera to the model and added the portrait anims...
This one's great, and I only have a few criticisms:
1. When she walks, her top half bobs back and forth like she's floating on water.
2. In the attack animation, she doesn't swing her weapon enough, and it the animation just kind of abruptly ends. It's as if she's swinging and hitting a wall or something rather than trying to fire a projectile. I think a good attack animation for this model would be similar to the Dragonspawn.
3. The stand animation isn't animated enough. Cookie's Drider has a great stand animation that would work perfectly for this model.
This is an updated version of a Hero Drider (half dark-elf/half spider) I made for the Heart of Storms Mod (hos.samods.org). Compared to the version of november 2004 it has better walk and death animations.
Since updating the model file didn't work I had to delete the old version and add this new version. Unfotunately this means all the nice comments and ratings are lost.
The Burrowsplat.blp texture can be deleted after downloading the model. It's the same as the original version in wc3 but I had to upload it in order to upload the model.

ouch and it doesnt have a portrait either there are many other cool models for 100kb-300kb with portraits
