this is the final version of this model, basically i've smoothed her out, cleaned her up and filled in some holes and tweaked some stuff. feel free to reskin. i'm leaving the old one here till the mods remove her so you can have two differntly skinned models of the same thing.........WHEEEEEEEEEEE

i'm so proud

i'd like to thank the academy and oinkerwinkler and mecheon whos the first mod to comment on my work and all the others who commented and mom (mum, thats how its spelled and how it should always be) and jesus cos on our drunken nights out he always offends someone with his juvenial behavior and lucifer for the same reasons and satan cos he cheats at cards and the tooth fairy for not caring where i got the "extra" 500 teeth under my pillow

oh and god, you owe me five bucks

@WildCat yeh I've tried but this is the best "two-handed-thrust-thats-compatible-with-a-shield" set of anims i could find

thanks for the praise, i've made a liar of myself. this won't be the final version of this, i've gotten too many new funky ideas and now i just gotta sort out what to do with them

It looks great except that anims where she cuts herself with shield and spear. Have you ever tried to look for better animations for her?

i'm not too sure what everyones talking about. her skin is basically a recouler of a watcher with some new details

@TerranMarine04 this is the only skin shes ever had, shes just got some better UV mapping so the skin is smoother in places

@Deathbringer yeh go ahead if you want, if it rocks i'll mak it her official skin. other wise if public demand calls for a reskin then i'llbe happy to do it. though i would like to know why people think this is too skimpy in comparison to the watcher

in regards to her garb, i see her as some form of elven militia, trained and may even be a former soldier but is not currently in the standing army. she has taken up her old arms to defend her homeland or some such crap like that

PS i asked my girlfriend to compare her to watcher and she thinks that they are about as skimpy as each other

As much as I love underly dressed women, I think its pitiful and sad when you give Warcraft III units little to no armor.

Personally I might reskin her and give her a little leg armor if enough people show interest.

The shield still is too far from her left arm, and it's skin needs to be modified. Except for that, it's great.

The first skin looked.....well i'm not going to go there. This skin is great, and i think the armor around the legs is fine. Night Elves wore really form fitting armor, read the books (The Well of Eternity Trilogy) and you'll see what i mean.

Great skin and mod, even if it is not a final...

the anims are transfers, from the blademaster.
her shield cuts into her in the anims and i would sleep easier if i could fix that.

now that i think about it this probably wont be the final model of her, i just need time to do this stuff and some new obsessive ideas , like oh say maybe a sword would be cool or this chick made into an archer cos i prefer her to most other archers

not bad for my first model way back in the day

her back-legs armor pad boots just adhere to her skin like it was part of her flesh, and the armor is a lil strange. Somehow i dunno whats wrong with her shield, perhaps is the position of the screenshot, but it looks misplaced.

Luckily these errors arent noted in-game, so theyre rather irrelevant.

just hope this isnt the last madel of hers

dont need to animate it, just transfer! :twisted:

the armour is a bit skimpy but its mostly thigh, and have you aver seen the dark elves on lineage 2?
SKIMPY plus. also they were the only race to have breast animations. i think the designers spent too much time on those and didnt address the "sticking-to-walls-when-you-came-within-a-metre-to-them" problem.

besides its pretty much what the nightelves wear

hi this is my spear maidens final incarnation unless i learn how to animate models

you may say its the same as before but shes had some gaps filled and verts tweaked. over all shes more polished

credit me where its due if you use her and let me know of what maps you use her in so i can dl them
