In case you're wondering or haven't read- please refer to this post:http://www.wc3sear.ch/viewtopic.php?t=11551This is my take on a Roman-ish Footsoldier. His hawk/plumage is team colored. He has the footman anims (with defend anims) The swords are modified from the Lothar Model by Urkdrengi. The advantage is that this model and the silver (and gold) Legioneer- and the Spearman share some of the same skins- therefore could work a bit easier in the same map.enjoy :)

Great model had a few problems with the sheild and the death animation but well done. 4/5, 5/5 if the problems were fixed
You don't need to edit the path for the actual model.
I can't figure out the full path for the RomanSoldier1.mxd Can anyone give me advice? :D
It is a very good skins 5/4 :D But when they die they standing up plz fix that :o
As said before, its not really roman (as he does carry a corinthian-ish helm, and minoan shield) but these are fantasy dudes, as the author says, theyre based upon the style of southern europe from that time. I like it, and will most likely use it for a heroic warrior or a soldier in a mythologic-ish army.
ATTENTION PEOPLE:

By lucifer's beard did you read?!?! ROMAN-ISH not to be taken literally. These were characters i've used in my campaign, not supposed to be Roman or Greek, just BASED off of the design. Gah! i know that these aren't exact- there not supposed to be. Rrrrrr stop commenting- stop emailing me, I ALREADY KNOW THEY AREN'T EXACTLY ROMAN! F*CK!

sorry, i've gotten a lot of responses as of late. These models are often interpretations- and usually don't have working names other than the ones i give to them while i'm creating them- hence the names that are fairly vague and general, or the ones that aren't exact (thank god not too many people here played Hexen).

But for pete's sake lighten the hell up people- so what if its not exactly Roman- i told you..."ish"

and to Lord Nicodemus- to quote you "see my comment on gold dude."
Ummm... it isnt a roman, see my comment on gold dude.
doesnt look completely roman but still great..
4/5
The shield whould be more rectangular and the gladius should be shorter. Then it would truly look Roman.
pretty good... not looking like a post-Marius
but looks like one from a local fiefdom which Rome relied on until the reforms and mass standardization...

but pretty good... not as a legion member
5/5
and again, a 5/5 8) . the shield is very good
hu!? i was makin one too! but your is far better lookin, even if it doesnt look very roman
yay!! someone made it!! and its very nice to! :D 5/5
i like it. works for huge battles and things
This one i liked much , good work
