dude this just looks awesome, it doesnt have to be used specifically as a "lich blademaster" guys, so who gives a crap it just kicks major ass

Apathetic IronyCome to think of it, Lich's can be what ever you want because THEY ARE NOT REAL. They are made up. If he wants a Lich to be a dead guy who wears interesting armor and carries a big sword, he can make it that. THE NAME IS IRRELEVENT. Complaining about it won't make anybody go, "This random Jackass is right! Time to change the name and sway my opinion because of this person's lack of a life!" How about you judge the model instead of the fking name? (Jesus, it's like the people who complained about that Starwars guy with the 4 arms not having the right colored light sabers because Starwars is what makes their life whole.)

Hehehe nice model you got there. Im pretty sure name in ways does matter and in ways it doesn't. In my suggestion name it like Skeletal Grunt Blademaster or something catchy. 4.9/5 Great. :wink: :wink: 8)

Awesome model, much the same as the concept. My only complaint is that the lower jaw doesnt look as fleshy as the rest of the face, but that if you have to follow the concept 100%, but its good to be somewhat creative too ;)

Ramza, do you know what a "lich" is anyway? Its an undead creature, often a former mage who continues is studies beyond death (with usually evil purposes) of course, it can just aswell be a warrior using magic to live forever. To be exact, its up to the author.
A lich could just aswell look as the ordinary person, if he treats his decaying body right.

I think the naming comes from an idea of mine which was (using the WC origin for the first Liches) warriors who went through the portals with Ner'Zhul getting turned into 'warrior Liches'

And who cares if Liches are usually wizards, it's not such a stretch to think that a more warrior type person could become a Lich through some means.

My views on the name lich is yes, a wizard who contrubutes the studies of nercomancy even after death, the reason why people see them as skeletons is becuase the makers of the skeleton looking ones often symbolize a huge impact of death.. so yeah Raiju is right with the defintion.

Now the model is very nice, the face is cool. looks so beastly and gnarly...and nercomatic and demonic. the pauldrens or what ever u call them are perfect, the only thing bad i have to say is that the weapon looks abit..er..puny?
but i give it a 4.9/5

Wow, looks very similar to the consept art. But I recomend skining the whole model the same way as the top of the head. And mybe make the eyes and mouth have like green fire. Anyway, 4/5 cuz it can be better.

Very um interesting Whitehorn but its as raiju said lich is a wizard after death so why blademaster. But its a great model i would say 4/5 i dunno really why i dont put it as 5 maybe because the texture i dunno.

you are all seeing it in the wrong way, the problem is not if it is a skeleton or not. LICHS DONT HAVE TO BE SKELETONS, they just have to be undead

the concept of the Lich: "Wizards that prolongs their studies even after death are called Liches..."

so, if you want to complain about the concept, you should be questioning why is this "lich" a blademaster

but taking out all of this crap, really nice model WH, the glow in the mouth would do nice i agree

I like the spikes but not for this model. Undead units arent supposed to have spikes, only orcs.

Whitehorn, maybe a different head and hair for him might make him look a little better. you could use the hair from the predator model since its thinner and looks more like the hair of the bloodseeker. i would say the skel head is the closest thing too this guys head but this guys head is also fleshy so maybe the head i used for torzo model, do you remember that one? still think its on this site. skin is pretty good part from the head part but that will change and look better if you swop the head with the other one. do the glow in his mouth like in the picture, it looks nice.

PS: The drawing on hid armor of the art looks almost exactly like the drawing on the armor of the skin. Good!

PSII: Why didnt u call it the bloodspeaker (on that site it's called like that)
