NEW OPTIMIZED VERSION
the old version of the Star Wars AAT had lots of bugs and imperfections and people were also complaining about the attack anim, so I decided to make a new version.
In this version I fixed the normals for better lighting, deleted unused bones, fixed the death anim, removed unneeded faces (making the file size smaller, fixed the inside-out side guns and added particles to the attack anim for a better effect.

THE TEXTURE Red_star2.blp IS NOT NEEDED FOR THE MODEL TO WORK PROPPERLY.
GIVE CREDIT WHEN YOU USE THIS IN YOUR MAP.

legendary terrainer you say? I'm not a very good terrainer, I'm fairly good at doodad placing, but I lack at cliffs and height. Or maybe you meant modeler?

IM the legendary terrainer. I dont make tilesets, but I am the master at making floor patterns with tiles. Either way, great model! once u get used to ur animator, everything will be perfect! :D

Your one of the legendary terrainers on this site, and one of the best we can think of! I really admire your work myself. Did you really think we thought your work as so-so?

I already have programs for animating, but I need to learn animating first.

Anyway, nice to know my work is appriciated.

Surfer, go to the forums please if you wish to discuss any problems such as attachment points. Anyways about the model, Olofmoleman you did a wonderful job yet also a wonderful thing. I can tell you right away that it is way better than the original AAT.(Not trying to be mean) I can agree about getting a better hover animation. Overall, it's a pretty good model. I'll give it a 5/5 Olofmoleman.

I think the gunpipe actually is pushed backwards, if I remember correctly (which I dont, but anyways), and the walk animation could be a little more "hover-y" meaning it is a little bumpy ride (but not too much, probably as a alternate animation since in the Naboo battle and Geonosis the ground is kinda flat), but then you are not an animator so it doesnt matter much.

The model is grandeur.
