Big file size for an attachment don't you think? 4/5.
good model :P
Oh yea :!: MORE GUNS :!: :D :D :D :D :D
You should steal some more models from Battlefield Vietnam... Ak47, sniper rifle, grenade and other weapons...
That would be AWESOME!!!

you do realize takeing models from games is illegal rite?
Nice Weps This Will Go Nicely With My Vanhelsing Map!
:)
uh what are the paths? i think Textures\Shotgun.blp is right but idk about the other one, HELP!?
how do u make it work whenever i tell it to attach to the righthand it attaches to their right foot and when i tell it to attach to their chest it attatches to their ass
Sansui, even if they came from other games, all your weapons look awesome, and props to you for bringing 'em to us. But there are two great weapons that aren't in here, the M95 Sniper Rifle and 40MM Grenade Launcher!
Please, dude, you must find a way to bring them to us!

Also, could I use these in my map as weapon items/attachments please?
LOL I can already see the Resident Evil map makers drooling over this....
when i do wot Saigon1 said it dont seem to work? there is no Unit and it would be easier if he said summet like what it says altogether. Please
hey can u make pistol next?
looks awsome, seein it on a marine would b pretty sweet
what is path for shot gun and m16 i cant get it right i have paths right now for em as Textures\shotgun.blp and the mdx is wc3imported what should paths be?
you should try and get some of the weapons from farcry aswell, those or awsome
You should steal some more models from Battlefield Vietnam... Ak47, sniper rifle, grenade and other weapons...

Nice Nice :)
OK  the way to attach these to a unit is to base it off of the Blood Mage's Sphere ability. Open the world editor, go under abilities/human/units and you will see near the bottom sphere. It has target attachment points where you plug in left hand, right hand, chest, ovehead, WHATEVA. Then you change the missile art to the imported model. VOILA! :P
IM gonna be attaching that shotgun to a model ill be uploading sometime. so untill then just give the dwarf a marine look...
You have to skin the marine and then alpha out the gun...but it doesn't work i tried it and it sux :(
but then i alphaed out the wepon of the rifleman and it worked but.... err... it's a dwarf...
you should make an m4a1ish thing i need one for my map

also-when i added the shotgun to a marines right hand, it went inside the gun rather then replacing it. is there any way to fix this other then to make a new model.[/img]
Its good for my char thx for make it
Didnt know you could animate an attachment to attack. Anyhow I do animate some models but i dont release those to the public.(most of the time)

Get an mdx to 3ds converter and move it to where it needs to be with WINGS3d and then merge it on yourselfs if you want then change the units attack animation to whatever needs be.

The pistol m16 and shotgun will all be on units for my mod with animations but the objects themselves wont so their still nice for cinematics.

Ill put all of the Lance steel models with his weapons and armor up for dl. but thats just 1/5 playable units in my mod.
yea mr psycho you can put this on a unit.

import it, change the paths, restart world editor, reload map, get into trigger editor, make a trigger containing the following:

Event:

Time - Elapsed game time is 5.00 seconds.

Actions:

Special effect - Special effect on unit - create special effect on righthand of unit using Shotgun.mdx

now it should have a shotgun in its hand, but no animation for attacking, if the creator of the model didn't made an animation. (the unit wil use it as a sword)
you can place attachments on the following places:

Overhead - places an attachment ON the head.

Head - places an attachment OVER the head.

Chest - placing an attachment on the chest (or back)

Righthand - places an attachment in the right hand

Lefthand - places an attachment in the left hand

Origin - places an attachment on the feet, or below the unit.

you need to type all the parts of the body you want to attach something to, without spaces.

Have fun!
Sansui, you should really start making animations.
or tell me how to make .mdx models so i try to.
Or do you know a way how to make an attack animation for pistol, m16 and this weapon? (with triggers, or object editor exct. ?)

Saigon1
this is awsome mate, can you put this on a model, a marine model if possible
WOOT IT WORKS!
