Something is wrong, I can't download it. I like both of your tileset golems so far, and for the ppl who complain about it sucking because it's isn't uber andwhat not, I'll put it this way. Now there are 5 golems instead of 3, more creeps, more options are now avilible. 5/5 Because of it's usefulness and creative idea

Even if its not the greatest model in the world, do you expect the author to get any better when you tell him it sucks just because hes an amateur?


I think it is worth taking into consideration the opposite is also of concern. Comments that simply point to what is well done on the submitted work do just as much good as saying, "this sucks!" Do you expect the submitter to get better from several, "good work," or "this is awesome," comments? Is it expected that submitters will find any and all flaws in their submission alone?

These are the only sorts of comments Khadhar'phak and others would have you make, if they would permit you to comment at all. I get the distinct impression that Khadhar'phak, and those who buy into the "if you cannot make a 5/5 model, you do not deserve to comment on models at all" line of thinking would simply restrict the comment function to those who have submitted things that have been rated highly.

the reason I said it sucked is because why would anyone waste space importing this model into their map when we nearly have the exact same thing without adding files to the map. So he made the head a little jagged and changed the color a little, that is not worth uploading onto this site in my opinion and is a waste of bandwidth. As to the comment concerning doing a better job myself, I will say what I saw a very wise man say something to the effect of "even if I can't cook a steak, I know a smoldering pile of ash when I see one" and "even though I can't make paintings like the Mona Lisa I know a child's first scribbles on paper when I see them". I stand by my argument. I will admit that saying something sucks in no way helps the creator of the model do better next time so here is my full review of the model:

Bad:
#1 it is unoriginal
#2 it leaves little changed from the original model
#3 it has little to no use that the other model doesn't already have

Good:
#1 the skin of the model itself is slightly better than the original skin (but not a lot)

Why do you people bitch about things just because its "not uber l33t new, or super modified". Think of how useful it is, and how cleanly done it is, not how much was modified.

Don't downvote things just because they're "amateurish". Even if its not the greatest model in the world, do you expect the author to get any better when you tell him it sucks just because hes an amateur?

Nockbow: Wouldnt say so. Thanks to texture and looks it is very useful for a golem in the barrens, and yeah, its not about how amateurish it is, but how useful it is that matters, by my opinion.

it sucks because it is amateurish. all he has done on these models is made spikes by dragging sections of the model.

lilbeelzebub1: No offense, but that comment sucks, it doesnt say anything. Why does it suck then?

I like it, especially the little stalagmite on his head. Though the red eyes need to be redone.
