This is one of my units from my campaign.

Three spells are worth checking out, the other is just a vamperic aura.

Enjoy.

Thanx to Clotaire for the model!

Well, that's why i chucked the spell here; to find out if people like it or not. I had real problems making the dark bladestorm, so many ideas, none of them worked out fine. Itested the blade launching thing many times and they never refused to launch... I'll check again.

Thanx Blargel, i'll try your idea. You can move while the blades get launched, which still give some time for the caster to slice and dice.
Does anyone else think that i should make the caster mobile while casting dark bladestorm?
I personally think it'll be batter if tha caster doesn't move during theother spells tho'.

Chuckle Brother, when did this "lopsided thing" appear? what's it look like? I'll get rid of it if i can find it!
When you're talking about the blades surrounding "the guy" are you talking about the caster in dark bladestorm (must launch to nearby enemies) or the target in 13 blades (must launch into target and then disapear)?

Guess not many people like the gore either. Fine, i'll cut down on the ketchup.
Here's a thought, how about making it possible to walk around during the dark bladestorm and the corpse absorbing thingy? That way, the blades don't have to just disappear.
Yeah dunno about anyone else, but I'm not really digging the swords. The spinning blades thing got a bit glitched and half my swords didn't launch off and I got some sort of lopsided thing that floated for a while around.

And I use 'meh' all the time, never knew it was Aussie or any other such thing.

BTW..Are the swords that surround the guy supposed to spike into him or just disappear and create obscene amounts of blood?
hmm. i like the blood. emphasizes the pain  ... and the agony  ... and the mutilation

*what the hell's wrong with me?*
Jokes, i personally think rather too much blood than too little. I mean, those swords are carving those units up! Into bite-size chunks! there must be some gore. And the gore emphasizes the brutallity of the evil units. i think that's the actuall reason for the over-the-top violence (no, my campaign isn't called Kill Bill vol.3)

Do you pronounce meh like you spell it?
Hmmm... interesting... Knights of the Round Table? Maybe I should make that lol... (yeah right)

Anyway, great job. The effects are simple but used well. However, did you really have to use so much blood effects? I used the dark bladestorm against the meat shield and it produced more blood than the damn thing weighed lol.

And as for the word "meh", I use it as well though not very often.
im USA and i use "meh"

i also use british spellings for armour, colour, and a few other words that are general spelled here with "ol"
oh, ok.

The spells are supposed to be overpowered, coz i haven't made custom enemy units yet.
Haha i never realised meh was an aussie term. Im aussie and i dont even know.
i think 'meh' is a term of indifference. The reply could also be used to show the that the speaker doesn't care. For example, 'meh' could be used to answer "isn't this movie crap?".
all australia users say this "meh" but its the first time i see a canadian saying, anyway, i dont know wtf this means

nice concept, but i think the spell is overpowered
Don't really like the blade spells, they look a bit...meh. But I have to admit the dark redemption is pretty cool looking.
Yeah, it's me again :?
This time, the spells aren't so long and drawn out. these three spells are short and (hopefully) sweet.

Before you say 'aw, not another bladestorm rip-off', the Dark Bladestorm doesn't have mauch (if anything) to do with the original bladestorm. I just thought that the name suits the spell well.

Anyway, thanx to clotair for the sword model, got it from a unit model that has that sword.

Enjoy these spells, use them if you like.
Do i need to say it? Constructive critisism would be nice, complements would be better.
