I submitted an updated version. Now you can carry up to 20 items. In the next version Player 2 will be able to buy new backpacks, too. (Think i'll do that next weekend)
And in the version after the bonuses will be carried over if you want that, if not, you will be able to disable this feature.

Eleandor...I think its like this. When you click on the backpack, you DONT SEE whats inside it, you EQUIP it. When you click on it again, you equip other stuff, I think. 8)
Well anyway, a very good System man 5/5 :D
You're wearing (!) the backpack! How could you ever HAVE the bonusses of the items inside the backpack?? It's rediculous to carry 5 axes in the backpack, and still have the bonusses... It's like putting 5 guns in your pants and hoping the enemies in front of you get shot without pullnig any trigger...
Microsoft is releasing a dummy windows XP in argentina for Old people that find adapting to Computer technology difficult, It is an excessivelly limited edition of windows XP, you can't have more than 3 windows open at the same time, and it is missing things like the control panel. And many other features.

It will not really help them to adapt to computer technology, it will just give them the illusion they are adapting, and it is also a great way for Microsoft to sell a defective product and make easy money
Where can i get GUI?
Bert, you are being plain rude. Just because some people don't know JASS doesn't mean that their spells aren't worth a thing! I personally started from GUI, and I find it a good start. We are not perfect like you are Bert. I even leak in JASS and I am doing my best to perfect it.

I just don't get what you guys want. To stop production of GUI spells? Even Vex mentioned that... I am against it. We all have to start from somewhere, and for some people (who are not expert programmers like you are) GUI is a start, and not JASS. If you already programmed in a programming language and you have some experience, then it's perfect to start with JASS. But if you never programmed before or don't have enough experience, I suggest you learn GUI because it's much more... simpler for those who are not familiar with programming.

@Born²Modificate:
Sorry, mabe I was too rude. :?
I've never said that I'm the jassguru; that is definitly Vex.
Don't blame me for my bad English, I'm not English and that was a silly typing mistake I made. I was in hurry.
And I don't want to flame every GUI-user for using gui, I just wnted to show you the advantages of jass.

@Thunder_eye:
GUI is the black sheep, because of several reasons.
1. GUI uses mainly BJ-functions which just call corresponding natives. That's not so bad, but if you use too many of them your map leaks. It's just a waste of (game-) time.
2. GUI creates for every new <trigger> (Here trigger is not meant to be a trigger in the way of a function) a trigger and a global, which isn't needed.
3. Some GUI-functions don't nullify there local handles.=> leaks further or later.

Let's say, use jass be on the save side.
Mhm first i thought i only should ignore your comment, BertTheWannabe. But hey, today i'm a bit polemical. So first i suggest learning where to use the appendix "-ly". The keyword is adverb, not adjective. The second point is that your "comment" , oh dear me... i cant realize i called it "comment", is one of the most unconstructiv ive ever read. It isn't more worth then a "three peny bit". Omfg... orthography F ?
You may didnt understand the aim blizzard wanted to reach with it's GUI-triggereditor... it's for those who dont want to spend much time on learning a scriptinglanguage like java. (Jass is only a Java dialect for those who dont know that)
If you want you can flame all those thousands of World Editor users who work with GUI , but i bet you'll need much time to do that. But good luck.
So what im really getting at is, that you shouldnt dope your ego and your selfconfidence with playing the ultimate triggerguru.

And when you're really as clever as you think you are you shouldnt answer, because you know im right.

@ Thunder Eye:

Yes, thats the reason why i wanted to do a inventorysystem that is easy to implement for all people. I had such problems with FSI and InvX, too, especially because i made the whole map before implementing the system. Indeed it's not finished yet, i only worked about an hour on the map. ;D
As you already said it, its not a problem to make it work in Multiplayer, too and to make it unlimited.I dont want to make a "next" and a "previous" button, because it only takes a second inventoryslot. So i decided to take a backpack with charges which display the current inventorypage. Also i dont wanted to use ability to browse to the next page.

Thank you for your CONSTRUCTIV feedback @all! :D
Comments like yours are motivating people like me to work on their maps and making em better! :)
Well sure its not as good as Invx, weaadders and those others, but Instead its much easier to implent!
Specially for GUI users that dont know JASS.
In just a matter of some minutes I made it multiplayer, added "next and previous page" and "unlimited" size of inventory space ;P
And how is GUI the black sheep? As I know it its just an simpler way to make triggers for those dont have time or just cant read Script languages.

I wanted to install Invx to my map but its just to complicated and takes to much time to add, specially when you have lots of custom items/units.

Nice work, :) Just fix some things like the multiplayer thingy and make a "disabled trigger" on how to import it for those really new map makers and I'll give you a five. Not sure if this is the best you can do or if you made it like I think you did

4/5
It's unuseably!
Go home GUI Users! GUI (and it's native calling functions) is(are) the black sheep in blizzards script language jass!

Your one isn't more worth than a three peny bit.
I suggest you first to learn jass before posting complex things which were done before 100 times better than yours.
Shame on you.

I hope what you'll post next is be better.
Better than this.

Sorry, but somebody had to say it.

0.00/5.00 anyways.
:?
Thanks. :)

@Blade.dk2:

No Jass is a plus for those, who dont understand it, cuz they might understand the system in gui.
By the way, what do you mean with "size isnt flexible"? Of course it is! Just set the variable "Inventarsites_max" to what you like, set charge to backpack to the current backpacksite and thats it. You can do an inventory with 10 or even more sites...
Also i dont want to compare my system with InvX or FSI ...
It's just an easyway inventory for those who want to trigger their system by themself and not to copy such big systems into their map.

I think i'll fix the problem with the statbonus in the next version, too!

@ Erdfried: We were talking about those fucking Hainschnirkelschnecken in school today. xD Damn beasts! ^^
Cool, I like it, but the bonuses aren't carried over. Anyway, nice job 4/5 :)
Nice work, Born!
I think it's well done!!
;)
(Yes my Avatar is a Hainschnirkelschnecke)
no jass is not a plus, do you know what you're talkin about at all?

This system is not really a masterpiece, as bonuses aren't carried over, size isn't flexible and stuff like that. By the way, weaadders Bonus Mod is the best way of having those bonuses.
Thank you for your suggestions.
I'll try to develop a method to save the stat bonuses for all inventory sites. ;)
the only problem i can see with this system is that the stat bonuses don't carry over from one inventory site to the next. Maybe weapons and items that add stats carry over through inventory sites + a one weapon limit trigger?

on the positive side, only 3 triggers, and contains no jass.
