Chromatic Orb summons a orb that can conflict aoe damage to targets or selected points. The orb also spawns 4 random spell effects sometimes even up to 2 spell effects. Caution Orb is dangerous to all creatures friend or foe.

It's also from Icewind dale. And it's a regular D&D spell.

This is a spell from the game Baldur's Gate. It differs with spell effects but the concept is the same. The "Orb" itself is a unit and you guide it to targets like a smart missile. The triggers in the map locks game camera to the summoned orb to help the player guide it as far as one can during the summon duration.
