take out the apostrophe its messing up the file. u cant open war3 files that have ' in them, usually, so basically u "protected" ur map. :roll:

Mostly WC3 has problems with the map or folder name. Give it an easier name / remove it from the folder to another folder

e.g. "DarkShadow's Testmap Version 1.05 Beta" rename it to "DS Testmap" or so

I've had this same problem...a lot. What I do is open the maps via the World Editor's "Test Map" option. If you can't open a map in the World zEditor, then it probably requires the World Editor Unlimitted.

Vex, maybe you can help me, some of the spell maps I dwonload here can't even opened in WC3, can't see them in the maps list!
Do you know what may be weong?

p.s. people put protectors on their spell maps all the time so i don't know what the big deal was for me to say that.


There isn't any protected spell map in this downloads section (I downloaded all of them), only some that need WeU to be opened

You can't get credits for the idea, cause this was overdone actually

1) I've never seen a protected spell map.
2) What idiot would protect a spell demo map?

Object Editor > Your Unit > Abilities > Add Locust

P.S. Did you make the trigger in GUI and just change it to JASS?

how do you make them unselectable? what is the jass function?

Um i don't really want people using this so i am not going to tell you how to implement it even though some people know how. You can use it if you can figure it out. Just put me as the original creator if you use it or edit or even get the idea from me.

If you don't want people to use your spell, then why did you post it?

Your fire units are selectable! Give it the Locust ability.
