i tried this , its very cool... one question though...sometimes im so close to the unit its basically touching , but when i attack it no damage but only on certain combo attacks, but if i back up and run into again and attack it will work, just wondering if anyone else has had this problem

Now you can turn when you run
And if you can't hit someone in front that mean you are too far from the units.

infront of you

Better than the last, but imo still bad for good gameplay. Make different attacks (Fire, Ice, Dark or something like that) that can be comined and deal extra effects then...
The arrow-down-action is good, although it should waste mana or so...
