Age has nothing to do with JASS and neither does this spell. If it is AoE then you can just order dummy units to blind each enemy unit around the caster in the AoE.
Just one problem. How do I make em' cursed instead of dizzy? I'm sorry if that's a sorta basic WE trick, but then again I can't even do JASS... Im only 12
Mediocre... Maybe even a little below that. I'm giving you a 2/5. And now to explain why. The spell is supposed to do a wave, right? Well, I didn't really see that and the effect itself didn't suggest that. It seemed more like a Thunder Clap.
I understand that it's your first spell but I don't mean to uselessly encourage you. Try to improve it by... extending its effect. For example, try to change it into an AoE spell, and so make the units affected by the spell cursed => Make them have a chance to miss when they attack since they are blinded by the sand. Its just an idea. But for a first spell, its neat. Keep practicing and you'll advance.
And about flaming, if you are ever having such problems, just PM me and I'll solve the problem.
Not bad... This actually gave me an idea for a spell. You could have shockwave and move the terrain up and down like some kind of ripple effect that matches the way and speed of the shockwave spell.
You can't really notice him jumping up, but its ok... the idea is pretty original except for the fact that people already have been doing terrain deformations during spells like war stomp...for the first spell i guess i would give it a 3/5*
