What tools do i need t make a model?

what tools do i need to make a model cause i have good ides for a model but bad for skins maybe my models will look better so plz can any1 tell what tools i need!!!!

Gmax is an 3d Tool and its FREE but the best out there is 3d max studio or whatever it is called ^^ but thats not inexpensive, maybe theres an Trail Version and you could try it...because making models ISN`T EASY!

We should help newbies...ok the awnser could have been obtained by just read some of the other threads here, but we all know that people mostly just make new threads...
