Model Downloading problems and a suggestion

When I Download a model it successfully goes into World Editor Import Manager. But when I place it down it comes out as a checkered box and says that it can't load the model. Any sugggestions on what to do here?

Also an idea for a model to be made is Samara (an evil girl with hair over her face). For anyone who has watched the horror "The Ring" you will know who this is.

Do you even looked into Import Tutorial? And be sure you set the correct paths (found in model info).

Good point. yes I do look at the tutorial and follow it but it still doesn't show the model in the editor.
