Icons with Cnped anime pictures or real life are not real icons IMO and shouldnt be counted. Freehand drawn icons like there used to be are counted. Icons of Custom models screenshots that are done are usually put there as its needed, but most of the time they cannot be counted as a good icon as well. WoW icons dont count really, not made by the users here.
CnP icons, they are ok, but barely....depends how its done....however....most of them are bad cnpéd
Recolors can be done by yourself and shouldnt waste the space and bandwidth. A simple lad with at least PSP or PS or any other quality art program can churn those in seconds.
