Credit! Whatever happened to credit!

Ok I released a Blood Angel marine skin about a month or two ago, since then it has been reproduced, changed, modified, and only ONCE has credit been given to me.

Im not mentioning any names but this is REALLY getting on my nerves, that skin took alot of my time to make and I hate seeing other people take credit for MY work.

So please if you modify it GIVE CREDIT!

And please moderators you need to start cracking down on this stuff, its everywhere but you seem to just ignore it <_<

Heres a hint: start mentioning names. Taking someone elses work, altering it, then taking credit for it is a bad bad thing.

Shit happens. And then it gathers here.

Anyay, your skin is pretty good, but the model is nothing like a WH40k Space marine.

Good luck on your crusade.

I didn't modify the model except I changed the particle emitters so I can't really say it was suppose to.

I've got the same problem, about 10% or so of the people that use my models give me credit

I think that the people don´t give credit because, where they can put? Apart, if some people download much models, he will must put much credit, and people don´t like write that, I think.

PD: Sorry for the probably mistakes, I´m Spanish, but I can use English language¡

This is thread revival, but because it is an important topic I won't lock it.

And this topic is not about giving credit for using a model, its about getting permission and giving credit when altering a model. If you change someone's model and upload it, you first must ask permission to upload it and give credit, unless the author tells you specifically that you don't have to give credit.

Well, whenever I use a skin/model I always give credit, not giving credit for someone elses skin or model are just wrong, someone spend alot of time on that and not getting credit for it must really piss them off...
