New Forum Category?

I was just thinking, instead of having all the new members post who they are and stuff in the Off Topic forum, why not make a whole new category just for that, labeled "Welcome Mat" or something, new members can post who they are and to say hi there, what do you think?

Yeh i think thats a good idea, many sites have this introduce urself forum.

I think we need a strategy compendium forum, where members will discuss warcraft 3 strategy. It is strange that on warcraft3 site exist a forum for discussing world of warcraft, but not warcraft 3.

Well we already have 2 suggestions for new forums. I want a forum with a Bot that answers when we post there! It would be so fun xD.

Anyway, we will need Darky here to make a new forum, if he likes any of the suggestions, as everybody knows I guess

Introduction forum is major waste, just look at any other forums that have such a thing. None of the members really read it. Maybe an introduce yourself sticky in Off-Topic, but not an entire forum.

Strategy discussion forum just goes off the entire theme of the site. This site is not about gaming, its about modding, there are other forums for that.

As for the "bot" forum, go on IRC for that. It would be a waste of valuable bandwith and just get trashed.

Well ok that means that none of the suggestions is good. Hmmm from the right point of view oz02 is right...
