How come whenever I save an icon as a .TGA in Paint Shop Pro 9, then try to load it with Wc3 Image Extractor II, it says something about an "Unsupported Compression"?!???!?!? This is getting really annoying, so could someone please help?
By the way, I have Warcraft 3 Viewer and Wc3 Image Extractor II, so if it has anything to do with those programs, I don't need a link to download it.
I think you need Photoshop. Photoshop supports almost every type of file format, and if the .TGA file doesn't load up in the Image Extractor, then i'm sure you did something wrong.
I don't think it accepts RLE comprssion. Didn't let me. If the problem still persists I would suggest getting a new image editor. Photoshop isn't really necessary. I use the Gimp and it works fine. (www.gimp.org)
Normally it should work. The problem might be alpha channels. Make sure that you saved it as a 24/32 bits icon and when you convert it and it mentions some blabla alpha channels problem then just let it do the mask stuff it must.
