You should have asked this on Maps Section.
Anyway, I don't know what they mean too... in author name its ok... name of author can be "3" but I don't think it makes sence on description.

Its caused my certain kinds of map protections, and sometimes errors with the upload script and lines created by color managers.

:O Now I understand. Well now when a map has a number I will know that is protected, witch is much better. :P

Oh really..? My brother(Sp4WnEd) posted a map on here
called " Element Maul" not a long time ago..
The map was unprotected and it still said 3,
and I dont think anything was wrong with it...;/

If the map is protected or not, you can see that just above the download, so the number would not reply to if a map is protected or not, I guess.

Like mentioned before, color code or color manager scripts often have the same effect. Not just protection. Who know's, WEU may be another factor.

To prevent the number error:
-Don't protet your map
-Don't use color codes or color managers in the title
-Don't use WEU

Well, the world would be too good a place if that ever happened
