darky is back? for how long?

As far as I can see, there are no qualifying members to be mods, aside for a select few whom I will not name.

The first thing I will say however, is that anyone who has the nerve to say "I should be a moderator" will never ever be chosen by me to be a moderator.

The other standard which is just as important as all other standards mentioned here (such as being helpful, using proper grammar and spelling, being ective etc.) is that you can not have any previous warnings and/or bans, no matter how long ago that was. Rulebreakers do not become rule enforcers, so if it is up to me anyone who has had/has a bad record of behaviour on this site will not be a moderator.

Of course none of these conditions will ever apply since I'm not really considered an important member of this site's staff team anymore.

EDIT: Oh, I left out one very important qualification; your level of maturity. If you act like you are able to handle a moderating position and not either give immature jokes or posts than you are open to a moderating position on my standards (of course you still must have the qualifications above^^).

umm.. why? i like 'joker' moderator, since most of mods are such a cool guy and sometimes i can't stand his coolness. I want some mods that has good sense of humor.

Darky is back?for how long?

Darky came here to celebreate only his birhtday! he sucks,i dont care if i get warned/banned by this post but he sucks!The point of this post is for darky to come again and become active goddamn it! When i entered wc3c,and saw Draco,the admin, post,reply,help people actually there,the first thing i thought at that moment was " oh **** this,why darky doesnt do the same" its actually cool to see the admin to the stuff like a normal user. Where here we have Darky,the mighty, wich cannot go to the level of the simple registered users and reply to them!

In his hb thread wich was posted on the frontpage,(why on frontpage?) he didnt even reply to say a thank you to all those users who posted there.
I dont see him comment/post around here

WAKE UP! This site is abandoned,moderated by some cool guys,but who cannot do a thing into imporoving the site!

And did someone look at the icons,obviously no,but i'll post an image of what happens there,and what happens....it's obivious! after waiting like 5 minutes for the icon section to open in the new tab using an ADSL internet connection.... still waiting...(i reduced the size of text using firefox so it can fit the 50 icons into the image.

So be happy Darky doesn't go and delete the site. He has no responsability to keep it up or anything, and if he wanted to delete it he just could and nothing you can say or do could stop him

I never mentioned anything about having a sense of humor, I said level of maturity. I don't care if the moderator is funny or not, if it is in a good way then there is no problem. However, if the person posts immature topics (such as a certain topic in the Off-Topic forum where a user tried to say he is not spamming by showing that he is spamming) then they are not up to standards.

And Mecheon, Nantuko_Husk is partially right. This site has a lot of users, and if Darky wants to keep it around then he should be taking care of it at the same time. You are right that he really doesn't have to, and, in fact, he's the one doing us a favor by paying for the site, there still is an obligation of common courtesy to take care of it. The least he could do which I'm sure would make everyone happy would be to appoint someone to take over his position when he knows he will be inactive.

Nantuko_Husk is also correct about the icons section. The state it is in right now is inacceptable, and something should be done about it. How it will happen though, is another story altogether. Even if we've had bad staff members in the staff previously that should not hold us back from continuing to keep the site in good condition.

That's the big problem. I know the moderators can keep the site in good condition, BUT without Darky, the site will not last much longer;
Sansui will be more inactive, and no sign of Elfwarfare.

And once again, about that of being here ten thousand years ago to be moderator, it's pathetic, and I don't want to repeat myself, just read my last post for fixing it better (no duh not this one).

Yes, yes, that's what i wanna see. Darky posts among the noobish posts. Tha mighty together with the mods, among us as normal users.

For the first time, i'm happy to see him comeback. But, after this moment, it is obviously that he came just for celebrate his b'day. ughh.. that sucks..

I guess we can argue a long way about this topic, but in the end it will be either darky29 or the moderators that will choose who will become a moderator amongst this site, so just let it rest for a moment and just wait and see....
