I believe 3ds max is also available for Macs.#4
Is 3ds Max the only modelling program capable of editing and making professional models for games and business use? It can't be, there must be some alternatives to it as we can't stick with 3ds Max forever, anyway it doesn't matter because new companies are already developing the model programs already.
