How do detect wc3 update version?

I think he meant patches. Unless he mentioned a mod or anything like it, wouldn't know.

He is asking how to detect when a new patch comes out.
Well when you go into Battle.Net I think it will automatically download. It's a piece of cake. Even if you don't play on Battle.Net , use it for downloading the new patch.

Raiju just explained how. On your main menu, enter battle.net (you don't need a battle.net account). Sometimes a download bar will start showing if there is a new patch or not. Otherwise, check the official battle.net news for any updates. Hope that explains.

Ok I guess you don't want to click on the battle.net buttom every day to check if there's a new patch :P. Well go to the blizzard site and see the news dude :D it's not even boring.
