Model Suggestions?

Model Suggestions?

I am making a map (ill release and explain when im done) and im wondering can anyone suggest some models that weaponless or any that are on wc3 originally but had there weapons removed? all help is appreciated
Also, what is a good program for modeling?

If you have an imaging progream that can do alpha channels and .tga converstion, and war3viewer from the tools section, you can make all the weaponless skins you want. You don;t have to alter models to do that.

As for programs, there is a list of them in one of the stickies.

yah but hero's generally use team color. if thats all you want to alter on the model, use oinkerlinkers vertex modify.

a small problem might be the size of course: just removing vertexes off the model (of the weapon) could end up of 150kb of each model you wish to be weaponless

of course, this doesnt apply to models without glows: if they have a simple weapon that iss clearly depicted with a skin, then "cloacking" them is easy and yet compact
