Team colors and Alpha?

Team colors and Alpha?

Ummm...I have a question. I heard u use alpha for black to be invisible, but what if u want to make a unit's bracers team coloured. People say u use black for team color but wont that make it invisble?

As far as I know, only certain areas of a model are teamcolored. If you alpha some parts of models, the team color will be shown through the alphad areas, but more often then not that is an undesired effect for skinners. Team color can be adjusted in the model's .mdx. There is a tutorial by alfred in the tutorials section on how to remove a team color in such a situation, but as for moving a team color from one place to another, that's a bit more difficult.

u can test by just filling the whole alpha with black...then u can know the alpha of each part is used to set transparency or team color.
