Scorescreen Icon Help

I needed a custom icon for a hero on the score screen but the alfa and stuff seems to be lost in the conversion. Ive tried a few converting tools BLp->TGA
but it still makes problems. How do you do it? Is there a tutorial around?

For converting to BLP > TGA you use wc3viewer or wc3 image extraactor, and it just may be that the icon is demaged, try copying it to a new frame.

Btw you could make a frame in Paint! Just CnP the colors, and start making it. BUT make sure you don't paint it in the icon itself, its uber hard to fix it.

no, dont make them in paint, work on them with small pixel brushes if you are making customs and use photoshop, well, small pixel brushes for the best effects.

Well i've made many borders in Paint. They always are good. I just have to set it at max quality and the icon doesn't get buggy. But I guess it is best in Photoshop, for "newbies".

Of course you're the icon moderator =P. We all know that elfy gives good advices, i'll try making good borders in Photoshop O_o.
