When I download maps it doesn't load!

When I download maps it doesn't load!

When ever I download cool maps it just says "trigger data missing or invalid" or "ERROR!" and it shuts down WE. How can I fix this! I can only download like three maps because of it. Someone PLEASE tell me how to fix it. And I do have Frozen Throne.

The map is obviously protected. Don't try to open protected maps. Why? its because to stop beginners from editing, changing, copying and stealing. By the way what was the map you tried to open? If a map is protected then leave it.

The maps I download are like InstaGib, World War III:IC, Gothic the Gathering,Starcraft Survival, Temple of the Old Gods, etc. They're all unprotected.

Then the map for World Editor changing has been somehow corrupted or following a trick cannot be opened. Sometimes trying to unprotect a map using a 3rd party program may not always work.

World War III:IC and Gothic the Gathering ARE protected. The other problem is if the designers used a different Editor like WE Unlimited, you obviously can't open it with the normal WE.

He doesn't understand what protected maps are.

Temple of the Old Gods is designed on World Editor 1.15. It is unprotected. Perhaps you don't have 1.15 patch? Or do you use a mac?

I don't know what patch I have. And if I download WE Unlimited, it will open up my options? And how ca nI get a different "patch"?

To get the newest patch just go onto battle.net nad it'll automatically download before you are able to get into it.

WE Unlimited has its own version and so does normal WE.

World Editor is seperate from World Editor Unlimited. When blizzard realeses a new path for wc3, WE Unlimited doesn't really benefit it. The people who made WE Unlimited must then quickly update it. Example the latest version of WE Unlimited is 1.15.

Where can I get it? And will it enable me to download more maps?

You can download it in this site. WE Unlimited opens some maps which the normal WE cannot because of the extra add-ons.
