I'm desperate....

I've tried to re-install my warcraft from the begining hoping that my world editor would work... but, it's still not working... The world editor only works when my warcraft TFT wasn't updated. after I updated it to the 1.18 version.... it says that I had to insert the correct CD! OMG... did I got a fake one?? What's wrong with my world editor? what should I do?

Btw, I don't really know where to post this thread.. so please forgive me if I post it on the wrong forum..

seems you have an illegal copy of warcraft.

but if you have an ORIGINAL copy then contact blizzard.

but thats impossible to happen!the cd works with any version. patch the game then insert the warcraft cd into your rom and it will work,thats for sure.

EDIT: but tell us,when you had warcraft unpatched (1.07 i assume) did you use cd to play or to open the world editor?

pirated warcraft here really works fine so most probably your cd is the problem....

I do not have a pirated CD. I have the original, but I think I will start playing with copies, to prevent the original one to start "rotting" (lol).

Through I don't think pirated CDs are allowed to enter battle.net .

I bought wc3 (after some time) and I recommend everyone else to do the same. I was tired of searching for cracks and the only thing I found when I searched was porn sites. And many things in WE was disabled and bugged in the cracked versions.

Hehe... I couldn't make any new triggers, thay all gave error messages. Lightning Effects in spells was dissabled. When I clicked on that line there was just a blank window, you couldn't choose anything. Last bu not least, the whole Buff/Effect editor was disabled.
