Brain <> mind, they're connected, true, but when brain dies, mind doesn't

hmmm...yes maybe the mind is the spirit, the brain is just it car.

Eg. The spirit leaves he's body after a acciedent. Translation in spirit form=Hey honey U stay in the car I''ll buy 1 ltr of mik and wil be back. The wife crashes the car and the guy gets shot.

i once had a lucid dream!

to those who dont know, a lucid dream is a dream in which you're actually awake and can control it.

it was amazing! i used my mind to bring up my ex-girl friend and embraced her. some time after that i sorta lost control and started floating around in my room until i opened my eyes.

a few weeks before that, i almost had a lucid dream; my mind started slipping away, and i knew it was about to begin, but i was so freaked out, i opened my eyes and stopped it.

this thread makes me wanna to it again - wish me luck!

I wish I hade such dreams. Be able to form reality (in the dreams) to whatever you want. Such dreams would be better than reality.

yeah, i love having those good al lucid dreams. There fun. But ever a nightmare in which u r awake (another word is nighttremor.)?

maybe this will help you:
make sure that you're very tired when you want to dream a lucid dream -- the time i had that dream was actually in the morning - i woke up very early, unlike i usually do (so im natually tired). after i woke up, i walked around in my house a little, and maybe had a snak too (cant remember...). after that i just returned to my room and layed on the bed on my back.

you must close your eyes (it helps), but always try to stay in focus (conscious). when you're starting to fall asleep, you actually lose control of your body, and actually cant move it, so you dont run away if some1 chases you in the dream - dont let that feeling scare you. you'll start feeling your body drifting, as if your mind is leaving it - it is then that i focused my thoughts on a certain thing (my ex-girlfriend) and it came to be. just try to maintain control of your thoughts - i lost control, and strted floating in my room, although it was fun as hell.

the best part is to wake up.
to wake up, just simply open your eyes. the really trippy thing about it is that in the dream, your body is supposedly in a different position than laying on your back, and when you open your eye, your body position "changes" back from what it was in the dream to laying down (remember, you cant actually move your body while dreaming).

when i had a lucid dream, the last thing i did before waking up is landing on my knees on my bed, and from standing on my knees (for that, my legs have to be bent), i suddenly was laying down (a position where my legs are straight).

in conclusion - you gotta try; f*cking trippy!

honestly I don't have an outer body experience but I gave a lot of nightmares like when you wanted to shout and you feel that no can hear you and something like that....

Oh nightmares are scary but nighttremors are so realistic i felt like kiling myself or someone to try ans stop it, its that real and satanic! Beware of them.
(I'm a Straight moralful girl, now that i think of no way would I want to kill anyone!)

In many dreams, I've been killed by a monster, yet, I don't actaly am myself, 'couse I see it from the side.

Well, it's only a dream.
And another thing. I can swear, ones, I was killed by that monster, she's cold as ice, and as I was consumed, I woke up, sweating, yet, my chest was all cold, cold as ice...

About Deja Vu. I don't want to destroy for people, but it's scintific prowed that sometimes, you THINK you've seen EXCATLY the same thing before, I got the same feeling in the end of AoM, but it's impossible, 'couse I didn't knew about it the date that I should have done it.

PS. xD, I just remember, ones, when I was out like 03.00 (on night), dealing newspapers, I can SWEAR that I saw a statue move, it was a goose, that's the funny thing about it
