Help Getting Dota Map

duno if this is allowed, but I dont see the big deal in asking is, anywho I was wondering if anyone had the open source Dota from old or an unprotected version, I basicaly just want to take a look and see how some things are done, and learn a bit, so if anywho could help me out id be very greatful, thnx

Before trying to unprotect dota you should read www.wc3sear.ch's rules. One of those says "don't discuss map protection/unprotection". There's no unprotected version of Dota. And I don't think there will be one. If you get warned or not, that's moderators' decision.

hes not actually discussing it, hes asking if anybody has an old version of dota, to get dota, you hve to get into dota allstars. dont ask me how tho.

There are old Eul version of dota in the map archive. Never bothered to check if they were protected or not, but you can try those. They are much better then allstars anyway.

Never played, but believing the're better than Allstars, it is not big challenge

Whatever. Trough you could extract all the sh!t inside the map with the MPQ lol.
