Try different programs. Shareware versions of winzip and winrar work well enouph.

If the file is zipped and not rarred (whatever its called I don't use it), there a freeware version of WinZip, but its not called WinZip it called FreeZip you can find it here http://www.ploty.com/freezip/

My tip is: download latest WinRAR. Even shareware version.

Ok, I tried the free zip and it seems to be working better. How do I play the map (It was Pandarens 0.6)? I looked in all the folders and couldn't find it. Do I tell it to extract to a certain location? Or maybe I missed it...

*Still feeling stupid, being amongst millions of other computer nerds who are far more nerdy than me...)

In your Warcraft-directory should be a folder called "maps". Extract your map there, then simply start Warcraft, go to -> Singleplayer -> Custom Game and select your map from the list (you should be able figure out how to start your map)

You can place your map wherever you want in "Maps" folder (you can make subdirectories).

That was really wierd. Didn't work that way, so I re-downloaded it. This time it was twice the size as the other, and the thing realized there were actually documents in it this time. Huh. I wonder if I even needed to download FreeZip; WinZip might have worked fine. Oh well. Thanks Everybody. (Now playing this map while downloading 50 others :D )
