Start location problem

I'm trying my hand at map making, and I have everything all set, but when I try to test the map, only player 1 is available, even though I have the start location for player 2 set. What's wrong?

is p2 set as a human player in the map settings?

You have to go to player properties under map options and assign players...if you are making a melee map, assign however many players you want to as "user." (i.e. if you want a 4 player map, assign four players as "user"). DONT fix the start locations.
