How much does this bother you?

I need you to be honest. I'm attaching a spell book to the gnoll model I uploaded. I took the book from the necromancer and merged it with the gnoll's right hand (later on I'll get a different skin for the book, I'm just testing for now). The problem, if it is a problem, is that the handle of the flail (that's the weapon) goes through a corner of the book. This is only noticable in the stand and walk animations. I'll have to remova an animation in which he scratches his head, but only that one.

So the question is, should I just leave it at that, or should I go through the trouble of re positioning the flail, the chain, the ball, the lightning, etc.

You can guess which answer I'm looking forward too =P

I say attach it to the left hand and alpha out the staff portion of the flail, so he is holding both in seperate hands.
