I'm new to this modeling thing and I want to know how I would make MY OWN models and skins etc. but mainly those two. Could someone please help me or if not tell me where I could find help. Thank you.
Photoshop / Paint Shop Pro for Skinning and 3DStudioMax for modelling (don't know if there're Mac-Versions). There're several discussions on this topic, but atm I don't have the time to search them for you. So, plz, try to find them.
Good skinning programs cost money. Modelling programs such as 3ds Studio Max also cost alot of money. Its not straight forward and easy to do them, they may look cool but you've seen nothing yet.
