How to export weapons out of the blp file?

Im recently working on a skin project! But i'm wondering about how to export my BOW out of the Archer blp file? Is there any way that I can do that? I just want the BOW of the Archer in its own mdx file! thanx :)

Well, actually no, because it depends on the UV mapping. You have to change that in the model. However, you can select the bow, invert select then and press deleted. Then all you have in the skin is the bow... ;) But the skin will still be too big, so if you really want to have a separate skin for the bow, you'll have to reUVmap the bow.

Unfortunately I can't, I suck at UVing. I once tried to UV a simple building and got something really spooky. However, here is a tutorial (you need 3dsmax for it): http://www.wc3campaigns.com/thread_view.php?t=62930
